Morning all
Two days ago my computer said NoSo I'm on a new one and it's all a bit weird, but I expect I'll get used to it. I hate change!
I've done all the lists this week TootsDo I get a heart for going out and buying a new computer

Well I've been absolutely rubbish at flying this week
I started off well enough on Monday but visitors/errands and 'stuff' swamped my days; I'm off to the village for my friday shop and fish and chip lunch with godmother, will try to get at least a HHC each in living/bath/bedroom done when I get back, then jump on the flylady wagon as it whistles past on Monday!
Get well wishes, positive thoughts to all who need them... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Good morning All
I have had a bad nights sleep last night - too much sleep yesterday I think but I do feel a little better. At least my head is not banging so much! I have rung work and told them that I will not be today and will ring the boss later to find out about Monday as GP said should be off until Wednesday if it is SF but then he said he didnt think it was SF - so I will let them make the call.
Have had a lazy lazy morning so far - have been trawling the net and done nothing except declutter two cups of tea. So here is my little list as i need to take it slowly!
- shower
- Take Tamiflu and other tablets x2
- strip my bed and tumble dry as it has rained and looks like more
- Move stuff in utility room that is in front of TD as cannot open the door at the moment:o
- Put up hanging rail downstairs for Mum's stuff
- HHC in LR to clear the sofa - will need more than this but it will be a start
- complete DD's forms for her new Saturday job that starts tomorrow
- Help DS complete his persaonl statement for application to Uni
- Open 10 letters - file or shred as appropriate (have not been opening post for some time now) - please dont tell me off - I know this is really really bad!:o
- Order more tablets from America
DS was great going to get anti virals - he did not complain at all having to wait 30 mins in the clinic for the prescription to be dispensed. He also did the shopping in Asda for me (however typical man - when couldn't find fresh soup did not think to get tinned instead - same with other bits lol) but he did try though- first time he has tried to do a big shop on his own. I was also told that they had to call the Police to the Health Clinic earlier as people waiting were getting very stressed and cross about the wait and lack of parking around the clinic - was peaceful when we were there!!
Ok thats me done - I need to get something to eat - although not at all hungry but need to take Tamiflu with food then off to shower and then strip the bed as I will be upstairs.
see you later....

Morning all!
I have a very long list still to do this week, which shouldn't be the case as my house is tiny.
Just wondering what everyone's houses are like and how it affects your flying (and because I'm nosey :rotfl:)?
I live in an old semi-detached fisherman's cottage with 3 bedrooms (even though our bedroom is actually the landing - no doors:eek:). Downstairs there is a kitchen, lounge and front lobby-thing (never know what to call this - they just called it a lobby in the estate agents brochure and the name has stuck) and the only large room is our bathroom, loo and shower room.
Tiniest of all are our stairs (which are called Norfolk stairs) where they are basically set inside the wall beside the fireplace and have a door at the bottom - so they are very steep and very narrow.

Blimus,
I have half a house. The downstairs half. Old detached edwardian thing with high ceilings which means I have to get the step ladder out to change the light bulb. 3 beds and an enormous kitchen extension. What I call the utility area is the old kitchen which was minute as was the bathroom. But the bathroom has been made bigger so the remains of the old kitchen now houses the freezer, wm and td and the back door.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

We live a 4 bed 1920's detatched house. Kids have a bedroom each, one bathroom with a shower cubicle upstairs. Downstairs Living room (depth of house), OH Study, hallway with cloakroom off, family room (with my pc desk in), kitchen with dinning table in. We have a garage with an internal door to the kitchen which has spare fridge freezer, tumbler and a load of stuff to sort out. I only clean OH study (apart from hoovering) about once a year. I never manage to do all the bedrooms each week (although everybodie's beds get changed and floors hoovered).
EDIT: forgot to mention the moat
Going to have a quick hoover around and then have lunch and get on my merry way to Luton of all places. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
