ive got 3 points currently on my liscence, still 6 for insurance though until this next month.
2nd set were warranted, but first set were totally undeserved. but i suppose some child may have ran out infront of me couldnt they?
can you still not see the road was just about to change to a NSL road? if a child ran out in front of the op a few yards up the road when they had accelerated within the new speed limit and ran over a child would this have been ok.
seen as you want to add ifs and but i thought i would aswell.
Sounds like you've been busy Goldspanners
But I'm not directing my pots to ALL people who speed, but people feel its okay to speed and even though its the OP who has done it, are attacking me as they have got points and don't like the fact they have got caught:rolleyes:
I understand sometimes speed is needed and the speed limit must be broke, for example rushing to hospital etc but just because some numpty is behind you doesnt really sound very good does it;)0 -
I have never had any points, speeding fines.
Hmm. Well, I did receive a NIP 5 years ago, stating that I was driving at 39mph in a 30 limit outside a school at 8.40am. Very dangerous indeed. I am a menace on the roads. I should have been hanged, of course. At the very least, I should have taken what was coming to me.
Oh, wait...
I requested the photos, and they showed that a telegraph pole had been targetted.
I wonder how many other people just paid up?0 -

By the way, please do entertain us all with your attempts to remove 6 spark plugs from your engine. It should be good for a laugh.
Says the vicar who can't top up the oil in his car and claims tax payers money to get it done.
I have my car booked into a garage.
I could doit, like I chnaged two central locking motors myself, could you?!
You really are very silly with what you post:rotfl:
Keep up these posts, very funny
Oh and btw, my car was on show in the Mondeo rally last week, not the scapeyard like your V8
:T0 -
I notice you have chosen not to answer any of my questions, and haven't commented on your inability to read. The typical troll.
Since you clearly have little of value to contribute, I'll waste no more time. Consider this a victory for you, if you value it as such. Its clearly pyrrhic.0 -

yes i have.
i feel its ok to increase my speed when conditions dictate. i wouldnt drive faster than the conditions allow on any road. but approaching a NSL road i would definatly be accelerating if the road was clear enough. having said that since i gained my last set of points my road craft has become a little more rigid and letter of the law applied. even when it doesnt make sense....work permit granted!0 -
