Speeding ticket - advice please

I still stand by what first posting.
The OP has done the speed, he must pay the fine, maybe I'd say he never intended to do it but he has, by him avoiding paying will place price rises for us all, so OP please pay and take the points.
3 points will come off after 3 years, 3 points IF its your first set of points won't really affect this years insurance nor next years long as you get no more.
£60 I think isn't it, a cheap lesson, next time let the guy past and let him get the ticket
Btw my point was IF there were children there0 -
OP, https://www.pepipoo.com is your friend.0

Nah, it was to avoid being overtaken. You put your foot down so the berk behind you couldn't get past because you imagined that it somehow impugned your self-worth.

And how does Doodles22 suggest the OP is going to "avoid paying"? Does he think he can just refuse and the authorities will just add a few pence on to everyone else's penalties to cover it??!!
It's just as well there were no stray children wandering in the NSL part of the road, never mind just a few yards further down, in the 30 limit, isn't it? They could really have been hurt then. :rolleyes:0 -

Pay up and shut up.
My advice completely,
Pay up and shut up.
And before anyone attacks me anymore, maybe think about speeding next time your child/wife/husband/mum/dad is out walking and gets hit by a car doing 5 miles extra an hour, it can kill them that little extra speed.
No good attacking me, im not the one who has been speeding, bad luck or no bad luck, just pay the fine and put up with0 -

But he might not have been speeding. Maybe the signage was incorrect or the signs were in the wrong place?
Perhaps you should take your own advice, and assume that the authorities are never wrong, and pay your parking ticket?0 -

Idiot.
Says the vicar who has 6 points and lucky got away with that drink driving nearly hitting that old lady over.
Your the odiot giving your insults, grow up0 -
Perhaps before attempting to lecture others, you could come up with an argument that didn't rely on emotive tactics. Tactics which are nothing but a straw man.
But please, feel free to engage me in a rational debate on the facts. I'd love to see the full extent of your ignorance on this matter.0
