Hey girlies whats happening? I hope you are all being good:rotfl:
I have lost 53 lbs in total (since Feb, not last wk!!) I am only 3 lbs off cracking 4 stone, I'm hoping I can do that before the wedding in 15day's which with all the running around I'll have to do I should manage.
Violetta - Massive congratulations - thats a really big acheivement!! I'm sure you'll lose more than your 3lb - then gain a couple with your beautiful wedding food!!
Ooo 15 days not long now!0 -
put half a pound on this week
deserved it though, went to have lunch at our wedding venue and got a bit carried away. have saved a few points today and gonna do that a couple of other days if I can to try and make it up! Really can't afford to get behind schedule lol! Remember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

Wow well done!!! - :beer:0 -
Please can someone motivate me! I have 9 months to lose 5 stone (I know I know  ) but just can't get my butt in gear! I look at all the wedding dress photo's and swear I won't walk down the aisle the size I am now, but I just can't do anything about it
I've done Slimming World for years but it doesn't seem to work for me anymore
but don't really want to try WW/RC
Did think about Cambridge, but then I couldn't sit and watch OH eat an evening meal with me having a shake
I do need to do more exercise but with OH working away a lot I don't have much will power.
Doing Slimfast half-heartedly at the mo, but really need to lose half a stone which I think will then inspire me to carry on.
Help!

This calorie adding up thing is odd!
One day I can track all my foods and be way over my goal
Other days like yesterday I didnt have enough? Wierd! I cant see what it is that's making the difference
when I suss it I'm not eating any of "that" any more
Any hoo I wanted to tell you guys I got sucked in by the advertising on the Acai berries. Claim to clear out yer guts, keep ya regular  and make you feel fuller so you eat less. Oh and give you more energy?
I've been on them three days now (That and a bowel clensing tablet that seems to promise 7lbs of weightloss just by clearing old sludge - Sorry if your eating, dint mean to put you off :rotfl:)
And I do feel fuller. I'm drinking extra water as well because of the cleaser stuff. So mebbe it's that. I'll give it all a couple of weeks and see what it feels like
and if there's any results. I'll be back to tell you what I thinks
I've also decided wii fit sucks! Yep I'm doing the exercise and 30 mins a day is good! (when I can - most work days) and I'm walking the mutts more. But some how I'm going up fractionally every day!!! mebbe I should just do the weigh thing once a week rather than every day. But if you want to do the body test it tells you your BMI and your weight. <sigh>
started out 2 weeks ago with a 6lb goal in 8 weeks - easy supposedly. I now have a 10lb goal in 6 weeks? Keh?
Grrrrr not fair! "I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -
Skint_Catt, Is there any one who'd go for a walk or even a gentle jog with you?
I find if you have to meet someone cos you arranged it, its harder to avoid it :rotfl:
Wish I had someone to work out with me LOL
OH will occaisionally but he's done his back in bless him. So I'm on me own.
How about aerobic house cleaning? Put the music on, crank it up and clean like a loon whilst boping around
Cant help with the diet thing. I'm dailyplate convert - that way it shows me the calories I've burnt off so I can afford to have that icecream
being allowed to have the treat is what motivates me to get off me backside for the exercise
Nix

Thanks Paulies nixie - I can find an excuse for everything

Two of my colleagues who live close by do run - but too much for me to keep up (I'm top heavy and have never run in my life before). I have considered going out on my own but too embarrassed in case anyone sees me stop after 200m! :rotfl:
OH does like to walk when he's around and is good at dragging me out. We did the moonwalk in late June so did lots in preparation for that but not much since.
I do have Wii Fit and used to quite enjoy it (and noticed a difference in doing the yoga) but can always find the excuse that I don't have time at the moment! MUST get that out tonight!
Don't know what a dailyplate is but might Google it!
Thanks for taking the time to reply

Skint catt - I used to have an excuse for everything until one day i just thought - what the hell am I doing and something "clicked" I dont even know what it was, it wasn't the wedding as we didn't start our planning until March and I started ww end of Jan.
Do you keep a record of what you eat & drink?
I track every day, i write down exactly what I have eaten and you'll be suprised.
I started walking the kids to school or dragging them out to heaton park and walking the whole way around.
I am currently bothering h2b for a dog but he's not allowing me one
have you tried the couch to 5k? Its supposed to get none runners off and out there is a podcast you can download for it, you alternate walking and running every few minutes until you build up.
Just been for my weigh in - lost 1.5lb this week - really chuffed as I have had far from a good week, but have done a few looong walks so I think that helped!0 -
Yes, I did have a brief look at Couch to 5K but haven't dowloaded anything yet - must go back to have another look.
Well done on your loss this week!
I had my 'click' the first time I did SW and lost 3.5stone. Now I need that click back!
Will make myself go to at least archery tonight (700 cals for 2 hours) if not the Wii Fit aswell. Have a few other things to do also but OH back tomorrow so if he's not too tired we'll do a brisk walk tomorrow night.
