It is sad really I love the idea but the site is rubbish, the shopping cart software is rubbish and by all account the CS seems rubbish too,
As you have never used the company I really do not know why you have such a bad opinion of them. Perhaps you should also take into account that for every person that comes on here saying they have had a bad experience, there are dozens that have not had any problems but do not post.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

I look at the site at least once a week
UNDER PRESSURE with respect why on earth do you look every week if you think the site is that bad, that makes no sense at all to me.

First order placed on thursday evening so will just wait and see what happens.
Have been put off due to the delivery charges.
But managed to find enough stuff to purchase to make it worth while and also used the 10% off voucher.

I ordered a "free" £2 lucky box with my last order. It contained a bizarre and random assortment, which nevertheless provided us with some amusement:
2 big bags kettle chips
2 tins mushy peas
jar of cheesy pasta sauce
2 500ml bottles generic cola
bag of marshmallows
box of "after eight" type chocolates
lemon curd tarts
caramel biscuits
raspberry chocolates
pack of Olbas Oil tissues
bag of dog biscuits (we don't have a dog)
6 loo blue blocks
handful of single serving milks
few lollies (a bit sticky)
All in all a pretty good haul for £2 - even better for free!
I think Dan may be onto a good thing with these - if you get a really good one you'll be tempted to order another (remember the lucky bags we had as kids, you knew they were bad value but kept thinking the next one would be good!) & he can get rid of excess stock. In return we have the excitement of not knowing quite what we'll be getting......0 -

If they start sending out decent lucky boxes then they are going to entice people to come to the site and order other things as well.
If they also put in things that they seem to sell on a regular basis then people who haven't tried them before may order that particular item next time.
Lucky boxes only seem to come around once in a while, perhaps Dan should split a bit of his stock up and make up lucky boxes as a permanent enticement, I am sure his orders would increase.0 -
Well my first order and most likely my last order from approved foods yesterday.
Can't fault them on the speed.
But two things. One is really out their control the delivery driver did not card us and only knew it had arrived when next door popped around at 9.15pm last night with the box.
The other thing and it has really annoyed me. I bought the 24 cans of pea and ham soup.
Firstly they have no labels on:( and secondly out of 24 only one of them was not dented and some had two or three dents in a can. I know they cheap and in date for ages. But I don't believe that I ordered dented tins. Need to re-think the packing of that item.
Will put in complaint later when I have more time to compose an e-mail.
