Great order delivered today, loads of marmite crisps, 96 bags in fact, my whole family were addicted to them & really peeved when they stopped making them. 4 of the LLoyd Grossman tomato & chilli sauce, I tried this a few weeks ago & loved it. I made meatballs with made up sage & onion couscous stuffing & cheap sausages, mashed together, shaped, fried to brown then simmered in sauce, with pasta. Really tasty & cheap.
More of the shepherds pie sauce at 49p, will bulk make shepherds pies & sausage casseroles to freeze. Lemon curd, to fill lemon cakes, yummy & more stuff. I think that it said my savings were something like £122 & I only spent £19 something with delivery.

I put in my first order yesterday and in my excitement I forgot to note the items that I had ordered. I was expecting a page that I could print out at the end of the transaction to show my order. Now I'm not sure what I asked for! Is there any way of going back into the website to find out? I've tried but can't see anything.0

I'm not sure if it does it on orders awaiting shipment but if you log in to your account (on the right hand side of their page), click on order history and then view order, it should show what you have ordered.0 -

I always receive an e-mail from AF shortly after ordering with a list of the order.
As mentioned above if you look under ,my account, on the website it should also list your order.
Are you sure it went through to payment ?Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
Looking at the AF webpage there is nothing on the right enabling me to log on - top right it has LATEST PRODUCTS FORUM CONTACT US
I had an e mail confirming payment giving an Invoice No and Item Number. It mentions PayPal which is rather strange as I paid by credit card.
It may be that the webpage is not showing up properly on my work computer as we do not have Flash, but I did manage to order and pay, so not sure if that would be the problem.0 -
OK, I've found my way in and looked at view order and there it is in all it's glory! I've printed it off for reference.
I'm excited now.0 -
Hi, I placed my first order on Tuesday with AF (after reading about them on here) and it arrived last night. Excellent service, I'm really pleased. But can anyone give me some ideas about what to do with the two huge bottles of Lloyd Grosman sauce that I ordered. I had no idea they would be so big. Daft really, should have realised.Second purse £101/100

When I open mine, I use what I need, and then I freeze the rest in portions suitable to the family.! They are really great value.
Of course if your organised, you could make a huge batch of what ever it is, and then freeze that in portions. Then you just defrost what you need, as you go along.
I have used then for about 18 months now, and have not had any problems with things, (except my Free milk portions last month were already off, but as they were free, who can really complain!) Nothing else has ever been though. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi guys, I'm new to Approved Foods & thought I'd give it a whirl
I've just put in an order (had to - they have Loyd Grossman's Tomato & Basil sauce, which is a big favourite here!) and was so busy concentrating on paying properly that it didn't occur to me till after that I haven't booked a delivery slot.
Looking back at the site, I can't find if it's possible to do this? I would have expected at least to be able to specify a day.
Would appreciate if anyone can let me know please.
TIA
Edit: I think I've found it in their forums - we can't chose when they deliver, we just get a text to say when to expect them. So help! What do I do if it's not a time I can cover?Miggy

Courier will either leave it with a neighbour or you'll need to phone to rearrange delivery or collect from the depot (it's not like ordinary food shopping from the supermarket, there's nothing that will perish if it takes a couple of days to sort delivery).Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0
