Dammit - I said I wasn't going to do another order for a while - but just noticed that they've got a new price on the Douwe Egberts Coffee. £6.49 for 12.

I opened it today- it has a pop- out pourer so it wasn't too bad. Anyway, it actually is lovely oil. Maybe I could even get myself organsied and infuse something in it and give it as Christmas gifts...At the moment as soon as I get a screw top wine bottle I am filling it up with oil. It is making me happy! So is all the wine possibly...

The site always quotes Highlands cost for me too..........

And I am in SOUTHAMPTON!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I just click on the correct postage rate and it goes through okay.

I assumed that Highlands cost just happens to be the default setting???
:rotfl::rotfl: It's not so bad for me. I am at least in Scotland. Just not highlands. lol. Just put in an order. Finally! Feels like i'm getting withdrawals from AF. :rotfl: Can't wait, it'll be a real help with having the kids home for lunch. Just got to deal with the impatience now. I hate waiting for things.
    Unfortunately,
MONEY makes the world go round.

Until yesterday I worked in the office of Approved Food (just in case anyone wonders why I'm sticking my oar in).....

The site doesn't quote you based on where you live, it is up to you to select the correct postage rate (the systems defaults to Highland) - and this is also the reason that collection was removed from the site because unscrupulous customers in the past were selecting 'collection' and taking the chance that noone would notice. However for anyone who selects the wrong rate, ring them up or e-mail and they will give you a refund or credit note for the difference (that is if the order picker doesn't notice the over payment and mark the refund due for processing).

Bear in mind though that if you underpay, you may receive a call advising that your order can't be shipped until the correct rate has been paid.

hmc I understand that you are cross but to be honest it sounds like the problem was with the courier not AF.
    Ebay 13 ;)........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50
    Amazon 14.......4/50 Etsy14............46/75. Ebay........23/200

put a small order in on sunday evening, had my email yesturday, had my text this morning..... and delivered with the time slot..

    flipping fantastic....as usual...:T

but the thing is, they are now offering a free pack of keloggs cereals, and they have reduced the loyd grossman tomanto and chilli sauce 2kgs to 59p each or 2 for 99p..

think i feel another order..:rotfl: i think i better get more containers in to batch cook and freeze...

i bought the chick peas, as i have had chick pea and vegetable curry before,

so i thought i could use them to bulk out my meat in the tomato and basil sauce.. and also turn the sauce into curry,

do you think if i add chicken stock to it, to make it thinner, that it could make a nice soup?
