a few weeks ago i was overcharged on some reduced bananas.went to customer services and they gave me a refund on the money charged(like Tesco),but no £2 card. i queried it, and was told we have stopped giving it now.

If a store isn't following company policy then you need to get in touch with head office, they will sort it out im sure.

Last week in Asda when they rang up my bill it came to £266. Both me and the cashier just looked at each other! It should have been around £35.00! When she looked at my bill she said "oh your blueberry muffins have come through at £219". I'd not had any blueberry muffins! Apparently it was a "ghost scan". I didn't actually pay the £266... so I don't suppose I'd qualify for a gift voucher.

I was once charged £65 for Tiger bread in Asda:eek:

Que long wait while a supervisor is called to take the item off the bill!!!!

£85 for a pack of doughnuts!!!!!
Have to hand it to Asda though, a couple of years ago I had bought a shampoo and conditoner which was their own make. It made my head itch and I had to stop using it - though I do have sensitive skin so I knew it would be just me not an actual problem with the product. They both said on them however that if you weren't entirely satisfied you could get a full refund.
They had only cost a £1 each but I was so skint a the time I thought it was worth a try. Got an instant £2 refund, but was asked to fill in a form stating the problem with the product. I happily filled in the form chuffed with my £2 and left. A week later I recieved a letter apologising for my problems with the product and £10 gift card!!!
Much better than TESCO when I CHOKED on a PIECE OF PLASTIC I had eaten in one of their pasta salads. I got a refund for the product only on taking it to the store and it was sent to head office for investigation. I got a letter saying it was a FALSE NAIL - gross!!! And a £10 gift card - pathetic! Oh yeah and they don't allow them in the factory so it can't of been their fault! Well I don't wear them!!! Wonder if this defense would have worked if I had died, don't laugh a lot of people do die of choking and I thought I was going to be one of them at the time. AND they didn't take the same batch of product off the shelf when I complained - I know cos I checked.
Gosh, I do feel better for that - I think this site may be therapy!
