I think I will buy her a new one then. That can be her gift from us.

Thanks all, guess its just not worth the risk.

I am sure your aunt would appreciate this and how nice that you take all these comments and advice with such good grace. Enjoy your new niece/nephew.

    you are having a laugh?!

This has got to be a wind up...

Of course its a wind up!

No parent with obvious access to the internet (and the wealth of information it provides on how to care for our babies) would be so ill informed as to be feeding their baby chocolate at such a young age.

The lovely term they called their baby a few posts previous just confirmed my initial suspicions.

I dont honestly know what is to be achieved by this wind up, but at least somebody seems to be enjoying it!
  • Maybe Ms A is too tired to log on having been up all night seeing to her sugar rushed Little F****r or maybe he has run her over in his walker as he's that fast on it! Who knows? Tune in to find out!

Perhaps Mrs A is out trying to find her REAL baby as the one she has in her care is obviously not hers. Remeber the OP which stated they THINK their baby is older than 5 months old ....

... surely if you gave birth you know EXACTLY how old your baby is, I cant understand the confusion.

I agree that I would never use a second hand seat, it is just not worth it!

I've not found any wesbites, we got ours checked at Toys R Us and then ordered off the internet.
FYI we have a VW Bora and it fits in ours.

I think its do do with where the car seat sits at the side of the belt buckle on the seatbelt or so I as told when I bought my daughters car seat. The car seat shouldnt be touching the clip, where the seatbelt clips in because if it does and should there be an accident it can cause too much pressure on the seatbelt clip and cause it to come undone. Please dont take my word for it though, and get the seat checked out but this is what the member of staff at mothercare told me when she fitted my daughters seat

Don't believe what any website tells you - go and have a test fit. We found one seat which should have fitted both our cars - it fitted neither!
