The Shipley address is the one I used. Check the terms and conditions haven't changed before sending for cashback. I e-mailed their Customer Service Dept before I sent them off enquiring exactly what info they required to process the claim [the e-mail address is: customerservice@themobileoutlet.co.uk] If you don't hear from them after the 28 days get in touch with them, and don't forget to send your documents via recorded delivery so you have a tracking number to prove they did receive them.0

thank you so much~~
CROSS finger...haha0 -
I know quite a few people are waiting on an answer on MO's integrity. I bought 2 x LG's on the 3 network just before Christmas. Claimed my 6 monthly cashback by recorded delivery and a covering letter. Bingo - 28 days after the cashback request - gregory peck, through the post for £270 (2 x £135). So after a nailbiting few weeks I'm happy to report they seem to be an okay company.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.0

I have spoken about this company on mse before.
I'm pleased to here that people are getting their cashback.
Just had a look at their site and it looks better than when i got a phone from them last year. The email address is correct for a start now!
I returned my phone straight away after receipt, as the website was a real mess and there were numerous contradictions in their t&c's etc.
Just had a bad feeling about them at the time.
I did complain too them about their site/service via recorded delivery letter, to which i never got a reply.
Personally i still wouldnt use them after my experience, but maybe they've got their act together.
Good luck!0 -
After reading this thread (ages and ages ago) I sent them an email suggesting they come here and represent themselves - everyone's slating them
Well, they haven't showed up, so it doesn't look like they care much about their reputation!0 -
Well, I've taken the plunge and ordered a phone through Mobile Outlet.
Pretty good deal.
Motorola V3 Razr Black.
12 months free line rental.
200 anytime minutes (double for first 3 months)
100 SMS per month (double for first 3 months)
£30 per month - then refund through cashback (I hope!)
In my case, I didn't receive any vouchers (though T&Cs don't mention any, so I assume they are not needed).
One question - there is 3 month's free insurance, but there is no information on how to cancel it after 3 months. Anyone got any ideas? I could always just cancel the DD I suppose. I've E-mailed them and received an immdeiate reply saying they have techincal problems, but will aim to reply within 24-48 hours. We shall see....
Cheers,

Cancel the direct debit they set up.That should be enough.
I always do0 -
!! Probably a bit late for this now!!!
Got a contract from themobileoutlet.. as a lot of people have said .... avoid at all costs unless you have a good legal team at your disposal, jokes aside, they do have some great deals but i don't trust them enough to get another contract off them,
******The first contract i ordered off them was taking ages to process, and their cust services line is ALWAYS busy i was on the phone for 45 minutes, i emailed them and asked them to ring me back in 15 mins or cancel the application (done online) and i'll try later on sometime, they cancelled but still charged me the £2 "admin costs"?!?!?!?! i didnt know till the credit card bill came through, with the charge for the 2nd contracrt.... see below.
****** The second contract i ordered (ordered a week after the first) arrived late, but was "comlpete" ie the phone was there but as someone said earlier they dont send you and paperwork, NO CONTRACT, NO VOUCHERS, NO PROOF i was lucky i didnt throw the despatch note away,my credit card bill came through, with the charge for the 2nd contracrtas well as the first (£2 admion charge, twice)
******Anyway thats all just hastle until now, they try tricking you into thinking they are a professional company so you assume the paperwork will come later.... make sure you know what your doing if you sign up with them.....
*******the main problem now is as follows, i sent my cash back claim with all the bills, with my details.... via RECORDED DELIVERY.... and guess what.... yeah you got it , apparantly they didnt receive it........... welllllllllllll,
 the first time i called i was told that it takes 28 days,,,,,,
 then i was told they hadnt recievd it,
 then i was told "someone from the cash back dept will call me back". ??????,
uh oh i smell B$ ,
 ANYWAY i called back the retard of a customer service girl gives me lip about how busy the department is....... the department is 1 person, who is ALWAYS BUSY from all the crap the company try to pull,
so im going to see what happens in the next hour to see if they call again
oh ps all this is done via thier 0870 number, you end up spending more on the cust serv bill then anything else,
anyway i'll tell you ppl what happens later.........

I had a problem with the T&C. The letter I received with my phone said cashback was at 9 months and 12 months. The Website said 6 months and 12 months.
I tried to contact them by phone for 3 days but give up after holding on for 20 minutes each time. Then I emailed them asking them was it 6 or 9 months. I got a reply within 24 hours which pointed my to their website T&C which said 6 months.
So I posted all the necessary documents by special delivery with 1 day to go before the deadline.
A couple of weeks later they then sent me a letter saying my claim had been rejected because it was late.
I then emailed them saying I didn’t agree and the cashback was within the dates and if their T&C had been clearer then I would have sent it earlier.
The reply was "all cashback queries have to be made in writing” I replied I thought an email was in writing! They then changed it to "have to be made by letter".
They then agreed to give me cashback after 9 months if I send the original T&C and 9 months of phone bills.
I sent that off a couple of weeks ago and followed it up with an email to check they have received it.
They have confirmed receipt and I am now awaiting the cashback.
I got this tel number 01274 587070 for their office which got me through quicker0
