How true is that above, are you serious?

I don't think anyone has reported getting cashback from them yet but neither have I heard of anyone not getting cashback. The only reports I know of are two unhappy customers on other forums (try googling for them) and there are unhappy customers for plenty of companies who do honour cashback.
gtz101's comments could certainly be backed up with some more facts. If (s)he has any I'd welcome seeing them.0 -
i have jsut purchased a phone from them for my sister in law after alot of researching and serious thought. I think all companies have to start off somewhere and tmo haven't had many reviews as not many people have claimed their cashback yet. I think you tend to find that most companies have good and bad reviews. I was quite doubtful about dialaphone when i took a contract phone from them last year but I had no problems at all and would receommend them.
I personally have took a deal from phonebox direct and they have just as much feedback as tmo. All i can do is cross my fingers and hope they pay my cashback.
If they do then they will of course get positive feedback left on this site. therefore start the ball rolling.;)0 -
Hello
I received cashback from them without any hitches. The problem i now have is getting my money off mobile solutions- https://www.themobs.com they claim not to give you money back if you send them all appropriate material if you don't fill in a voucher!0 -

IMO this kind of post is worse than useless, it implies there are problems with this company (which there may be) but fails to give any information.
If you want to state your opinion then please say it is your opinion, if you want to share experiences then share experiences, if you want to post a single word then really why bother posting at all?0 -
be sure to send bills to Mobile Outlet via Recorded Delivery or similar so that you can verify they have received bills, otherwise they will tell you they haven't received them or they arrived too late. It happened to me. I was advised by Consumer Advice to write to them and ask them to keep their end of the bargain. I did this, and told them I would take the matter to Trading Standards. Although I did not receive a letter regarding my complaint, I did receive the cashback 2 weeks later.0

new here..haha..
just join a plan(LG u880) in mobile outlet..
but in the terms & condition..
they said
" All cash back and 1/2 price rentals must be made in WRITING, and with original bills"
So what kind of infomation need to be include in the letter? Coz they said "must be made in writing".
and where should I send the letter and the bills to? Because there is no address given...
apart from
Suite 3-4, Riverdale house,
Dockfield Road,
Shipley BD17 7AD
which is the only address i get from the welcome letter.
thankx0 -
shekshek,
Can't be 100% sure but it would appear that mobile outlet and Themobs (and many others) are all the same people. And all as bad!
If you are inside the cancellation period I would highly recommend you return the phone and cancel under the distance selling regs. If you have any problems google for consumer direct - very helpful people.
I very much doubt you will get any cashback. Sorry to be negative but would rather say it now than you find out later.0
