    Sorry for yet another question!

Had a letter today from Egg regarding my unsecured loan ( I have cancelled the direct debit on it) stating that if they don't hear from me in 48 hours I will be issued with a default notice. In light of the fact I am going Bankrupt on Wednesday is there any point worrying about this? Can they actually do anything by Wednesday? I don't want to call them and tell them I am going bankrupt as I know this will then pull out all the stops

A default notice is nowt to worry about. Your BR on your credit file will trump anything else on there, you actually might find you have a few on there already. Ignore and all the best for Wednesday.

More than likley a scare tactic for you to call in & speak to them...usually is

wouldnt worry too much about it..by the time they sort the paperwork out you'll be BR anyhow

Hi Amiga. Still thinking of you buddy. I do hope all goes well with the OR. Don`t forget that support is over flowing here. How is GA? Hope it is helping.

Not a daft question at all. Don't panic about it all, you have taken advice, you have learned all you can about the process, you know the worst you can expect, Wednesday is just a formality. Look on it as the first day of the rest of your life.

Good luck on the 19th Amiga, i'm sure it will be fine. I went BR on the 10th and going to court was far easier than filling in the forms beforehand.

Regarding your default notice from Egg, I had a number of defaults from all my creditors over the last few months, including more than one letter stating I should reply within 72hrs or they would send the heavies around (door to door collectors). Needless to say they all appear to have been empty threats, you have nothing to worry about with a court date so soon.

Thanks Pobby. GA is going really well, I haven't gambled for a few weeks now. The urge to do so isn't quite as strong either. Still attending meetings while I still can ( The OR may take my car and I can't get the bus to the town where my GA meetings are)

I am starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel, If I can just get through Wednesday and the OR I will feel a load better
