    Thank you guys!

This will make me sound like a idiot but I am not that scared of the BRU/BRO it is the fact I could face criminal charges that scares me. The OR has said that my income on one of the loan applications doesn't match what I was actually on

Thanks for the post Miss Cynical, I think like yourself, that the waiting part if the worst part, however I am glad it all worked out well for yourself :)

Surely you wont be prosecuted for the loan application. No doubt you noted income as an estimate?

I don't remember what I put to be honest, it was 3 years ago. I haven't been told I am being charged or anything like that, and doubt I would have lied about something like that.

Sorry to sound like a stuck record guys.

    however! :)

It is now 4 weeks since my face to face interview, where we discussed BRO/BRUs.

I was told on the day it would take 2 weeks, then the crypic answer of we have until August. I know Debtinfo has said 3-4 weeks. Should I risk the wrath of the OR and call tomorrow and ask if there is any news or just let sleeping dogs lie?

I know it is difficult but it is best to let sleeping dogs lie. Allegations have to be exact and so even one word out of place can result in the paperwork doing the rounds to get final approval, all this takes time

    Thank you once again Debtinfo!

I will leave it alone then, ironic thing is, I won't even take it to court and will accept what they tell me.

But I understand they need to cover themselves legally in case I did contest it.

    Thanks again

Bit of an update. Yesterday I was 2/3 of my way through Bankruptcy. I am almost counting the days until I am discharged now. Still no news on my BRO so I am worrying sick still, so much so now I had to go back to the hospital, however I am nearly there.

I can see why BR seems an easy option to those who look at it from the outside, but let me tell you, this worry and strain as you get investigated ( for which I fully derserved to be) is like nothing else I have ever been through before.

Oh and finally a question for you BR gurus out there! I was talking to a friend who suggests that as I earn just above minimum wage, and work 30+ hours a week to claim Tax Credits. I know this won't be an awful lot of money, as I do work, but as I am sure you know, on a tight budget, every little helps.

Now my question isn't should I tell the OR or not ( I am scared stiff of the OR so I tell them EVERYTHING) rather do tax credits get taken into account, in view of making an IPA?

    good to hear from you
hospital! aw hun, hope you're ok now...is it the strain of not knowing?
if it were me Amiga i would apply for the tax credits, these can take a while to sort out though. if/once you are successful, let the or know how much more you get. they may want you to revise your soa, but that's no biggie is it?
    you'll be fine
i do think of you xxx
