not necessarily but they would really only ever be able to use info from the F2F interview, so if that is the direction they are going in then they will do a F2F interviewHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
Thanks Noofy, I am due to go on the 4th of May. Still not 100% as I am not sure I can really afford to go
And Nervous, your friend shouldn't worry too much. I was told the main reason for the meeting ( and it may be the same for your friend) was to make me aware that I may get a BRO/BRU due to my conduct ( i.e gambling). The interview was written down but wasn't really really horrible. Your friend will be fine. They just want facts, they aren't there to punish your friend or anything.0 -
Amiga,
If your ticket is paid for go!!!!!! It will do you the world of good to get away from everything even if it is just for a week. You don't have to spend lots of money when you are away. Work out how much you can spend a day and it will be plenty. Have a fab time and think about all of us freezing in Scotland.
Take care

Finally a BR update. I have had my letter/report from the OR. And I have been given a BRO/BRU of 4 years. 3.5 if I agree ( which I of course will). Main question being, is that it now in terms of Investigations etc? And also does this 3.5 years start on my discharge date?0

Glad you have finally got some closure on your BR, hopefully this should be the end of it:):pB&SC No. 298

and WISE too late!0 -
Yes Amiga that's it!!, once you ring up to agree the OR will send you the form to sign saying you agree to a BRU, this will be sent to be signed by the secretary of state and once he stamps it and dates it the BRU will run from that date for 3.5 years.
Hope this helps
