Finally a BR update. I have had my letter/report from the OR. And I have been given a BRO/BRU of 4 years. 3.5 if I agree ( which I of course will). Main question being, is that it now in terms of Investigations etc? And also does this 3.5 years start on my discharge date?
hi Amiga
i'm so pleased you finally know what's going on...i know noone wants to BRO/BRU but i hope that draws a line under it for you and you can move one - and enjoy your much needed holiday x0 -
Amiga
Time to draw a line under it, try to forget about it (if you can) stay in touch because you will be able to give invaluable help to others who may be going through the same thing, go on holiday and find yourself a smashing senorita. :cool2:
Take care remember sun screen

i dont think ive ever said congratulations to someone who has been given a BRU before, but that should really be the end of it and hopefully you can get you life back to somesort of normality from here on inHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
Thanks everyone!
Yes I know, it is very odd to be happy to get a BRU but the waiting was the hardest thing I have ever been through. I have been a very stupid chap and have learned my lesson. No more gambling or credit for me.0 -
Hello all
I am nearing the end of the Bankruptcy, 7 more weeks to go and I am discharged. To see the end in sight ( with a BRO in tow) is such a relief. By far the most stressful and horrible year of my life so far, on the other hand by far the most sensible decision I have ever taken, Without BR I don't know what I would have done. And I couldn't have done it without the support of each of you. I have noone, so the support of total strangers has been all I had to get through it so many many thanks to you all and I am sorry if I was a total pain in the rear at times
Thanks everyone0 -

Hello all
Never went on holiday, it was the time of the Ash from the volcano and a flight got cancelled so I never ended up going.
Thanks again for the best wishes, I intend to stay around to try and help anyone I can in the same pickle0
