selling your stuff on Amazon...part four...

Anyone know/has it been discussed, whether the new postal system coming into effect soon wil make a difference to the pennies we make here?

Just put my first items up on Amazon.co.uk. Pleased with myself, the old student books haven't been selling well on eBay, so I thought I'd give Amazon a try and branch out. Fingers crossed my books will sell, they're all lowest market price and all in as new condition, so hopefully I will get a few bites.

I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes!

As soon as I read this thread I began listing some of my old books on Amazon and before I'd even fnished I sold my first one! Thanks to everyone who contibuted to this thread, I'd never thought of selling on Amazon before and I can't believe how simple it is :T

comicmankev - i'm afraid that I've hidden my head in the sand with the Pricing in Proportion thing. it sounds such a faff and the only good thing about it is we are all in the same boat with it.

I didn't know this, I wasn't selling them intentionally like that & I think I've only sold 2 so far. I just figured cos I don't use them anymore that I would sell them.

Woohoo, had a sale today! :j I'll only make £2.50-ish but am still happy; it's been about a fortnight since my last sale (although I only have about a dozen books listed).

Want to sell more as we'll be moving in a month's time! :eek: Now where's that Amazon fairy... :rotfl:

I sold two books today, one on Ebay and one on Amazon. That still keeps me on track for about three a week on ebay and one every 10 days on Amazon, so I am getting rid of them slowly but surely.

Finally, after a gap of three weeks sold a book today and got a pending on a box set of three videos - think the postage will be big if it goes through but it was an unwanted pressie so didn't cost me owt and I priced it accordingly for the anticipated postage...........

Was missing my fix of selling :wall: and got quite despondent seeing everyone else reporting sales. Has made my day :dance:
