Mind you I've been productive so not time wasted and hubby is watching footie so anything is better than footie - however robbie williams does look cute in shorts!!

  • The Amazon 'buyer waiting' list is only available to pro-merchant sellers, there are thousands of entries on it so it would be very difficult to take it all in. I'm a pro merchant but I've never been able to download it, it must be a techie thing. The 'good priced sellers' list that we're compiling is our attempt at having one for everyone to use

Thanks apprentice tycoon - yes the list of good priced sellers is handy although it's a shame we can't look out for known buyer waiting books.
Never mind. Hope your having a productive evening too.

Thanks, I have added to it. Shame the thread was spoiled by bickering though.

My unblemished 5/5 rating in 81 feedback ratings has been shattered today by some newbie joker who left me 1/5 saying the £19.95 I charged her for a paperback was a total rip off.

This was a deleted title in brand spanking new condition and bookfinder has a good condition creased one at £17 with the other (very) few available worldwide, being £30 upwards!!

I'm so p*ssed off as her feedback makes me sound totally dishonest. Bloody hell, did I hold a gun to her head and force her to buy? I think not!!

I've emailed Amazon and asked them if there is anything I can do to remove this comment as I feel it makes me appear dishonest and is detrimental to my reputation as a seller. Won't hold my breath.

I've left a response saying that for a deleted title in brand new condition, it is extremely competitively priced and that I never rip off my customers. I also in red mist left her feedback of 1/5 explaining what she'd done and warning other sellers - probably should have left it and taken the higher moral ground, but couldn't resist.

But to say that I'm furious is an understatement :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
  • Purple, you've been abused - I think that something wierd happens to buyers in the days between agreeing to buy a book and receiving it.

I can totally understand how upset you feel. When something similar happened to me, I phoned Amazon on 0800 279 6620 and they agreed to remove the feedback. They are open Mon-Fri 9-5. I think it's better to speak to someone direct rather than rely on e-mail.. Good luck.;)

I will give that a go, although I wonder whether they will be open tomorrow, it being the Bank Holiday. Typical it happens now as I go on holiday very early Tuesday for a fortnight

Still feeling a bit peeved to put it mildly. Completely agree AT, you obviously do get the occasional muppet. I've got 151 100% feedback on ebay and until Friday I had 81 100% on Amazon, so it's hit me hard!

    Oh PP

I am sure Amazon will remove the feedback and I am sure most people will realise that buyer is a joke !!

    ((hugs))
