Wow, the first book I'm going to list currently goes for £69! Fingers crossed! :)

Question about condition of the book: I've hardly seen any described as Used-Good, and that's what I was going to describe it as. Nearly everything else I've seen is described as Very Good - so does that mean that everyone's books really are in very good condition? Or what exactly does Very Good mean?
  • Larmy - if I sell either a really cheap book or a very expensive book I leave the packing slip whole so that the buyer gets to see the amount of money that Amazon take off me and maybe they see the full picture that way

Purple - I'd be very unhappy to have to refund her too, I assume that you mentioned the dodgy postcode to her? there's a chance that it may be brought back to you in a week or so.

Yvonne - you must be really pleased with that one :j

Hornetgirl - nice to see you back!

Dormouse - £69 sounds really good, have you checked it on www.bookfinder.com to see if that price is common? as far as the description goes have a look here and see if this helps.
  • It's another one of DH's but still it's a sale, just listed a few more PC games inc one which is £29.99 on there so hoping that one sells too :-)

That's 14 sales now, still only 1 feedback, & currently have 139 items listed!
2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,
  • Does anyone know if there is a way to temporarily suspend your Amazon sales without actually removing them and relisting the whole lot? Only I'm about to go on holiday and don't want to risk neg feedback if any customers have to wait a week for their book. As it is, I have a pending sale from today but as I don't go til Weds, hopefully if the buyer does get their payment sorted within the 72 hour time limit I will be able to send it in time, otherwise I will relist it when I get back.

    Any advice greatfully received :-)

  • Yes you can put them on holiday settings but I'm not sure how, ask AT or someone they will be able to help.

  • You'll need to go to your sellers account page and you'll see on the left a list of links, there's a holiday settings link, it can take up to 36 hours to come into effect but can be much less.

I just had a look at my feedback and was alarmed to find that the book I sent had "changed my life!" according to a buyer.

Turns out it was a Paul Mckenna book she was referring to rather than to me.

I spent a confused few minutes wondering what on earth i had done.

Still - it was positive lol!

  • Ahh, that simple eh! I've done it now, many thanks AT.

Yep, on Bookfinder it goes for something like $129 so looking good! The funniest thing is that from what I can remember, I bought this book for 50p or £1 in a mad bookshop sale a few years ago... I would be absolutely gobsmacked and completely over the moon if I get anything over a tenner for it :D:p

Anyway, just listed my first 10 books, just got to sit and wait now. :coffee:

I have sold quite a few books in the past few months on Amazon, and have just sold my first non-book item (a good condition baby item). I am really pleased as it sold quickly and for more than I think I could have got at an NCT sale. Now I need to pluck up the courage to list the grobags I have on ebay (as the designs I have are not listed on Amazon).
