Good luck for the car Hypno!

Off the marks with my £20 as I spent 55p on some tomato and basil bread yesterday. Definitely unnecessary as I have bread/rolls in already and loads of flour to make my own! Oh well...

My £20 is still intact......but I do feel a chocolate/coffee moment coming along shortly - my colleagues have gone [STRIKE]on a jolly[/STRIKE] to a business meeting and therefore I am chained to my desk for the majority of the day with no one to cover.....

I need to get to the post office to post an Amazon parcel, but will have to do that later this afternoon [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when they come back

No news on the car yet - it is being done as I type.....

    £20
    -£3.20 (swimming)
    -£1.45 (birthday card)
-£1.50 *covers mouth with hand and whispers very quietly out side of mouth* (magazine)

Oh dear. But worth it for a bit of escapism to the days when I WILL be able to go shopping again, to help me to overcome my personal troubles and rise above them with goals to aim for. Some people pay a lot of money to discover such things, so in a way, that's actually a small price to pay! :p

    £13.85 left

In a week when I have to pay £1000 for DDs trip to China, and my student money hasn't arrived......it is quite painful.....

But if I get home and find a cheque on the doormat, or if the person who bought the skis at the weekend pays me for them this evening, then it won't be quite so painful.....

£180 including the cost of the test - comes under the heading of "could have been worse....."

There is no way of avoiding it, and because we were already out of MOT, no time to shop around for anything cheaper etc, so it is just a case of bite the bullet and be grateful for the fact that money is due in to us from other places that will even things out eventually!

    Eeek! That sounds expensive :(

I've managed to resist spending money whilst out at lunch - the swimming pool is closed for maintenance this week so I've been popping over the road to the shops and library every day. It was hard to put the lovely magazines and but I did - and took out 5 lovely books from the library instead :)

    My £19.04 is still intact...

yeah i know the couldve been worse scenario ...it gets so frustrating when these things happen ...then we feel grateful that atleast there is money coming from somewhere.. so we re-jig everything about again when it was a tight squeeze to begin with ...but we get there ...
