hahaha! Earlier this evening we tried to wind DD up, by getting the tent out of the garage, and telling her that we had been asked to house 3 more students, so DD and DS were going to be out in the tent for the next couple of weeks.
Strangely enough, she didn't even look fazed :rotfl:Such is life in our houseSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno an MOT for a mere £20 - now that would be worth spending the £20 on - if only....... Hope it passes though and you don't have to splas too much cash
I managed a NSD but didn't go for a swim as planned - felt grotty after work so came home and watched some catch-up soap tv (become a bit addicted to Doctors - sad I know!!) had a lazy evening and promised myself to chase up my real life doctor to see if they have any test results yet - I'm working on the theory that no news is good news - but having a few probs so really should chase docs secretary up to see where my appointment has got to.
Roll on a week and a half when we break up for the BIIIIGGGG summer holidays with 5 weeks of lie ins and pleasing myself what I doJanuary spends - £587.580 -
sorry milann - a lie in
I don't know what one of those is!!

Good luck with the MOT Hypno. Sounds like that rampage is needed at the language school. Hope those mentioned as being poorly on this thread are continuing to recuperate well.
Hypno, I love the story of DD and the tentBe careful what you say in jest though... your DD clearly thinks it may just happen
Considering the above paragraph, she may be right :rotfl:
I've done a £10 challenge regularly that for the last few years. £10 lasts me three weeks. A finger of fudge for 15p or some other 15p chocolate usually - the name of which escapes me - does the trick. I can't do portion control so have to buy kid size bars of chocolate.
I put 78 books on Amazon on Sunday night. Sick of Amazon, but the cash will be useful - I've got about £40 profit so not bad going. Also put 12 CDs on MusicMagpie (was 16, but they rejected four)I don't buy enough 'stuff' to get cashback (no car and I live in a rented bedsit) and mystery shops aren't possible for me so this is the best I can do for now to up my income.
I'm as tired as the most tired thing, so I'll sign off wishing you all well.0 -
I'd edit the above so that it reads a bit better grammatically, but I can't be bothered!0
