Scotland's stunning. I would highly recommend. See if you can get a decent hotel round Edinburgh - it's so pretty and you can go elsewhere it needs be. x

Shaun, I hope you manage to get some time away, that would be good.

Christmas - I'm in two minds, tbh - and this year's will be difficult, no two ways about it. Plus TheTrainline are still not cooperating in the matter of reservations....

Are you sleeping better these days?

Yes, thank you very much - it is far better now.....not enough, but better!! I am obviously sleeping "differently" too, because I am dreaming more, or at least I am aware that I am dreaming more which is quite bizarre really.

But overall I am sleeping better, so that is a good thing. When I wake up in the night, I am finding it easier to get back to sleep, whereas before, when I woke at 1am or 2am, it took me a couple of hours to get back to sleep!

I have been brainstorming my "decluttering" :o It is such a big project that it has to be broken down into areas:
    • House
    • Loft
    • Garage
    • Shed
    • Cabin
    • Paperwork
    • Me
It has been on my mind a lot today (which is not good as I am at work!) so it must be important to me right now.....

All I need to do now, is to actually finish the job, having started it several times in the last couple of years

Forgot to mention, that after a week of healthy eating - no snacks or rubbish consumed......I weighed myself this morning, and have put on a lb  I will stick with it for another week but my motivation is waning somewhat this morning

Well this regime is doing me in too!
I've put back the weight I'd lost
And despite not eating the carp, and not drinking during the week, I woke this morning with a SPOT on my nose :eek:

(I don't get spots, so how has that happened?????)

Although Trainline are on Quidco, they charge a booking fee which usually exceeds the cashback. I now try to find a train/ticket on Trainline and then go to the web-site of the train company (eg First Crapital) instead.

late indeed.....head hurts, feet hurt (not sure why) and just generally wiped out - not a bad day at all, but I am tired from getting up at 4 on Saturday, followed by the gargantuan decluttering effort yesterday!

Anyway.....I have leftover veggie curry for dinner, so no need to use any brain power to think what to cook, thank goodness!

The great declutter will continue this evening with another ten things minimum that are going to discover their fate before bedtime

I hope you have all had a good day!
