This £20.00 thing is not that easy to the spendthrifts among us........£6.11 on essential food (milk, bread, yogurt, eggs. £2.00 bus fare (it was raining) so that's £8.89 left then...............Not a brilliant first day!

    Hi Hypno

Re: Egg. A while ago I am sure that Egg withdrew lots of CCs from brilliant customers. In effect, because they were so good at paying off their CCs at the end of the year, Egg were not making enough money out of them (i.e. in interest etc). It might be that your credit history is too good!

£20 is still in tact and I managed a NSD - go me!

Ok, I guess this is a record but my £20 is gone! My adorable puppy dog (ok, she's not really a puppy at one but she is adorable) broke her leg this morning so I now have no money at all until the insurance pay up. I have to find the money first then claim it so I'm having NSD x lots for about a month!!!

She's having an op as we speak ... she'll be fine but I'm carp when it comes to my children or animals being in pain. Ok, i'm going to go and breath in a darkened room! xx

ETA - it's turned out to be a chipped bone and damaged ligament. Now, where did I put my cash back credit card!!!

Hope puppy is ok, and give him/her a big hug from me. (I'm a big softie for dogs, we get our Springer spaniel puppy 1st week Aug) xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I might have spent £5.06 on lipstick today... :p

    Absolutely non-essential......sorry :D

    I've had a NSD today :j

urg.....yes, OH was one of Egg's customers who had his CC withdrawn for no explicable reason. When we questioned why they had done it they simply said "because we can"

£20 still in tact - I'm planning a swim tomorrow and will book appointment with nutritionist at gym too - having a few tummy probs that she may be able to help with as well as helping me lose a bit of weight - I'm determined to make full use of this membership now I've renewed it - so hopefully will go straight there after work and not get side tracked visiting supermarket on way home from work - but will use what we have in the fridge instead - so planning a nsd and £20 sitting pretty in my purse.

Bah humbug to Egg for not giving you the loan hypno - hope you get an answer from them.

It might be worth asking Egg in writing for a reason for the ppor rate considering your excellent credit history.
When you have paid cards off have you closed the account aswell? Just wondering if it was the amount of available credit you have?
I can't believe Egg is the only loan company that allows overpayment. Is it worth an ask on the loans board?
And you never know it might be worth asking Barclayloan to lower their credit rate for the loan, seeing as how you are a model payer?
