    Have a good holiday shaun!

Monday morning again - the last week of term for the children, and the last week for the current students. I have two weeks at work before I get a holiday, so I can start seeing the light at the end of that particular tunnel.

20p scratch today, ebay bidding is up to £26, dooyoo is almost half way to cashin and I am trying to find £20 from the odds and ends in the various bank "pots" to get my £20 for the current challenge! I neeeeeeeed this one to last me a long time! Payday is 23rd so it certainly needs to last me til then, which is 10 days, and ideally will see me through 2 weeks, when I am then off work for a few days.

Good luck to everyone with their crisp £20 notes at the ready :T

Download stuff tonight so another long day ahead of me....trying to stay focused...and awake! Have a good one x

  • morning, start of another week.

Shaun - by time you read this you will have got back from fab holiday

    £20 is at the ready.

DH starting to come round to idea of dooyoo etc to make money, esp if i can then go back part time next year to pursue S/E job. Have signed up to dooyoo but thats as far as its got - i think the first thing to do is find all of you and review :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Got an interesting day - the man involved with the girl at work is in the office for the first time today since it all happened - my boss will be watching closely. Of course I will have to be nice to him all day :A

Have a good one all, Me x

I'm sitting here at work with my shiny new £20, knowing that I I'm safe as we only have vending machines on site - & none of them take notes.

Good luck on the interview Saving Holmes

And here goes £20 challenge - be careful out there...

My son was given £20.00 pocket money, by his Grandad, yesterday, so I said, "bet I can make my £20.00 last longer than yours!"

Normally his money would have been spent before i'd finished the sentence, but he's a competitive little soul, so he's joined me on this challenge ;).

Hope you have a great week Hypno et al.

    Excellent tactics there, Scrooge.....

My tactic so far has been not to get the £20 out of the bank  But rest assured, I will be doing so once they open (they are only the office below me, so I don't exactly have to go far and make an extra special journey!!).

Am being good though - much as I would love a latte and a pastry.....I am at my desk with a sachet of nescafe cappucino and a bowl of own brand Shreddies :o

Yep I havent got mine yet either :D

But I do need to buy lunch stuff for four days of this week (being fed on Weds :D) - so does this come out of my £20 or is it essentials? (I have no fresh food at home for lunches and I'm going to buy just salad humous and 4 baked potatoes and milk for brekkies :D)

Also I need to buy fresh coffee - work provides instant but I dont like it - I'm guessing this isnt essential :(:p

stuff to make packed lunches counts as essential. If you, however, chose to buy a sandwich at work instead, that would have to come out of your £20 because you could have done it cheaper with a bit of effort.

coffee......much as I would like to say it is essential........if you are choosing to take in your own because you prefer it, then it is to come out of your £20. My fake cappucino sachets come out of my £20, because I am buying them instead of having nescafe at work.....but I am still saving, because I don't go into Costa Coffee opposite the office!
