Sorry you are not feeling too well, shaun, I hope you soon feel much better. Good luck with all the "back to school" stuff too!
Banking done - I have moved the last of the Egg money across into the current account so it is ready to pay the loan off tomorrowOther than that, nothing to report - nothing going in or out that I didn't expect, so that is good enough for me!

Yes, shaun - the normal monthly payment to them goes out on the 1st which is tomorrow, which will leave about £200 to pay, which I have transferred courtesy of student money, all ready to send by faster payment first thing tomorrow morning.
So, it should all be done and dusted fairly early on in the day
I have already set up a standing order for an amount equivalent to the monthly payment, which will go straight into the barclayloan pot. So my monthly outgoings won't change, but the debt will be reducing :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I have been number crunching, looks like it will take us longer than thought.

L
Is that more number crunching since last night?
Remember the "DFD" is only a guide - none of us know what is going to come our way in the meantime which changes that - either bringing it further forward or further away, but at least by having a general DFD it helps to keep us focused.
I wanted my loan to be gone by Christmas so I could do the MFiT challenge "properly" but I cannot see how it possibly can be, so I just have to accept that I will be a late MFiT starter, and keep going with the barclayloan until it is gone, which it will be eventually!
You ARE getting there, lucielle, those numbers in your sig are definitely heading in the right direction which is the main thing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I seem to be struggling to break though the 30k barrier. Some spending has had to go onto a card. i was kidding myself and thinking I won't put that onto the snowball and just keep paying it off each month then it doesn't count. I have now put it on the snowball, so I can have the satisfaction of entering the repayments, sad I know.

Nothing sad about that lucielle! I know what you mean about struggling to get through the barrier - I whizzed through the 30ks but am taking an age to get through the 20's and I really want to be in those teens!
Might it be worth you re-doing your SOA to see if there is anything that has crept in that you can shave off again, or join in the £10 a day challenge for September - that extra money can either go off the debt or build a pot of money you can use for those occasions that you are currently putting on your card?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have been trying to sort out the bank accounts and have finally got 2 named oil/cars. I want to open another one for Christmas but can't seem to do it, will call into bank this week. As OH is weekly paid and I'm 4 weekly we use OHs more. I am budgeting £10 pw for oil and £20 pw for cars (we have 2).
My extra income has dried up whilst away as the woman I was helping at the weekend has fallen out with her boss and told him where to go, so that's a bit of a blow. I was hoping to use that money to get my hair done as I haven't had it cut since May '08. Once we have been to see Billy Connolly we will re focus then.
