where is this heat everyone is talking about - it's cold here and rainy and very, very windy. The concept of it being too hot to do something seems like a vague memory.... there were a few days in May...

It has been a lovely and warm day! Sorry SkintSpice! My cousin invited me to an impromptu BBQ - lots of lovely veg on the BBQ and nice cheese and bread. May have affected the WW point countine just a tad:rolleyes:.
Do any of you read Dinah's diary - she's just had some great news!!!!
Off to do some ironing - just like you Hypno - to be able to say I have done some!0 -
Double Trouble - we went to Bodnant Gardens - beautiful sunshine shone upon us - then to Betws-y-coed (cuze the spelling!!!!) - enormous raindrops fell upon us, just went in train shop there cos rain so bad. Travelled around Snowdonia spotting waterfalls from the car - rain stopped we got out of the car for a breather somewhere in mountains and the wind blew into us - nearly blowing me over!!! From there we ended up at Bedgellert to the lovely ice cream shop and then found the new steam-train station and picked up timetable for a later date (nearly dropped in shock at price though!! - will have to be a very special treat for DH) From there we travelled to Criccieth - windy on sea front and finished up in Cearnarvon before heading back to sunny old Stockport - so weather wise we had a bit of everything but nothing for too long - had a good day though and we dodged the rain best we could. I envy you living in such a lovely place.
Went round to DS today and DH tried to sort out an electric socket that blew and smoked but think it needs and electrician on job for DS. So went out for walk at local park instead and DS treated us to meal out - so a lovely surprise.
Sounds like you are really making headways into the garden Hypno

Ugh, monday morning......I slept badly, but for no reason - bah! When I was asleep, it was a deep sleep, but I just woke up frequently.....I have very puffy eyes this morning - not a good look
Scratches done - the obligatory 10p notched up, and banking just reminds me that I spent too much in Tesco yesterday....the freezer is well stocked, though, and the student will be able to eat....and I will claw back the overspend once he has gone home quite easily I am sure.
Must go and make packed lunches......have a good day everyone xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
