Wow just caught up on the thread, what a small world we live in. All this talk of North Wales making me homesick. I was brought up in sunny Llandudno and have spent lots of time in Beddgelert, Criccieth, Snowdon etc and Betws y Coed every Sunday full of bikers:T Glad the weather was not too bad for you Milan and glad you had a lovely weekend.

My parents moved to Llandudno when I was at Uni they lived on West Shore I followed after Uni because my Dad wasn't well and later in 1985 OH and I bought a hotel there stayed 3 years not the best experience of my life  but it was an experience.

    DTxx

Good job they did move there else I would never have met my OH I was a city girl prior to that hated it for the first 6 months then met OH and things improved a lot that was 28 years ago

Well it is certainly getting there. It has opened up a fair bit of space, I have to say, and makes the garden seem a whole lot bigger......It should be tidy, at least, when it is done - so not exactly Capability Brown stuff, but at least it will be neater than it has been for a long time!

I no longer feel as though I am letting the neighbours down!

The cheque for this current student arrived today, so I can bank that tomorrow - I can't pay it to Egg until 1st Month because Egg get easily confused, but it does mean that the Egg loan will be gone for sure in a week or so :D
