Shaun - Don't BLEAT those words - Christmas and 16 weeks in same sentence - NOT GOOD.
I was on top of Christmas all last year but must have become very complacent and not with it at all this year - must buy some saving stamps and write a list of to buys and.......
The story of Bedgellert still enthalls the kids - I was smiling as I watched a little lads face in a shop as a dad (?) read the story from a postcard - magic!!
Hypno know what you mean about travelling round train sites with your dad - I have been around many with my DH as he too is a bit of a buff - have even got a tiny garden railway at home - not big enough to sit on - track roughly an inch wide - an expensive hobby to start - we were lucky and most 2nd hand - but once started can make model buildings etc out of all sorts quite cheaply with a bit of imagination - keeps him out of mischief I suppose!!!!January spends - £587.580 -
lol, milann - one of the "clutter" areas of my life is my dad's collection of "Model Engineer" and "Engineering in miniature"......editions going back to 1929 that are currently piled up in my garage  I need to sort through, catalogue and then decide what to do with them. I sold a few of the early editions on ebay, but there is soooo much of this stuff that I really don't want to even make a start on sorting the rest out!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh, I've ordered my gravel - 2 tonnes, delivered, for £83, which I thought was quite good. It will arrive tomorrow so I can def get the garden sorted over the next few evenings/bank holiday weekendSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Wow just caught up on the thread, what a small world we live in. All this talk of North Wales making me homesick. I was brought up in sunny Llandudno and have spent lots of time in Beddgelert, Criccieth, Snowdon etc and Betws y Coed every Sunday full of bikers:T Glad the weather was not too bad for you Milan and glad you had a lovely weekend.
Well done on all the hard work hypno, make me feel positively Lazy, although did cook pork dinner and catch up on paperwork. The weather here was rotten until around 3pm but not hot like it was with you.
Todays plan involves tidying up after the weekend, yet more washing to be done then pick up our friend who still has no car, so may pick up a few bits from Aldi as Mr T not been paid yet!!! So just a top up shop today.

What do you mean there's one every year :eek::eek::eek:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
