Oh believe me taxi, I have looooooads that needs lots of money spending.....but because of the size of the house and the number of rooms, I have a few that can be done on minimal cost too so it balances it out a bit.

Talking of big houses - I know I talk about wanting "space" but this is actually quite a big house.......I am realising that as I spend hours and hours cleaning the conservatory  I am about half way round the outside and it looks like new, I have to say, so a job well done (well, half done at the moment....just stopping for a coffee before I do the other half). OH has done the conservatory gutters and also some weed hacking.

Next weekend will be more expensive, because I need a couple of tonnes of gravel to lay down. I will have to ring for some quotes tomorrow but I am sure it will be quite costly .

The casino site is on quidco - deposit £20 and play through, for £30 cashback on quidco, so there should be a £10 "profit" in it, even if I can't withdraw anything from the site itself. We shall see - it is a while since I have done anything like this, so I hope I don't make silly mistakes.......

Never been to a casino site what game do you play and do they give you instructions I am a real casino virgin:o

I am still playing free bingo but nothing the last couple of days but prior to that been doing OK.

I shall be in touch about MB when I get back I must do that:eek:

I stick to blackjack - I can just about count up to 21, so it works well for me :rotfl:

I'm done in! I've not done the conservatory roof yet, but all the inside and outside windows are done, as is the outside frame - all bleached and sparkly white as new.

The front of the garage is done - gutters, downpipes and all paintwork cleaned. It was harder work than I thought, so I will do the back of the garage next weekend.

OH has done two trips to the tip and is loading up for a third - all garden rubbish, so surely things must start looking better

The pond is about two thirds full - we need more to finish that off with some soil - but that needs to be done when the weeds are dead in the other bits of the garden because we will use some of that soil, so another job for later in the week. Then we can pave over it. We have got rid of a lot of rubble and crap from the garden into the pond already, so again that makes a difference to the general state of the place.

A significant improvement but still work in progress.......another week of August left :rotfl:

Very impressed by all your hard work in the heat! I'm struggling to lie about and drink lots of fluids :rotfl:

I'm off work this week and got a huge list of houseworky jobs to do but waiting until it rains and gets dull as its bound to as I'm on hols.

I missed X factor as was out but not sure I'll bother with repeat after the reviews on here. Why mess with a formula that worked?

Shelley you have done absolutely the right thing - I am ker-nackered!! I think it is Pimms o'clock :D

I am really pleased with the progress made today - all outside stuff, so all according to plan really. It has been bloomin hot though, so has been much harder work than it might otherwise have been.

Needless to say, no housework has been done, although I did go to Tescos and roast pork is crackling nicely in the oven, so I haven't ignored other things completely! I suppose I can do the rest of the ironing this evening...........

Pimms - yummy and we all know the fruit in a Pimms glass counts as one of your 5 a day

Whilst I love roast pork and crackling I'm going with cold chicken and salad as couldn't face how hot my flat would get cooking anything

Plus you know the rule never touch an iron on Sunday (any day of the week for me really)

I will def be collapsing in a bath later on......when I gather enough energy to get up the stairs

If only I could find the time/energy/motivation/lack of laziness to be as productive every week.....I wouldn't be living in such a muddle then :o

Sounds as though everyone has been busy ......

back at work for the day tomorrow .......... think the office might need a huge cleanup as builders been in at school for whole summer.
