One of my jobs tomorrow is to clear out old pots in the garden - I re-potted some things today, and my tomato plant (I only have one survivor!) has now got fruit on it, so that is good, but I have still got quite a lot of work to do over the next weekend or so to make sure that "garden month" has made enough of a difference. September's task will be the kitchen I think.......
You seem to have done loads - are you keeping a list of **achievements**?Double scratch day today but still only 10ps......it is all adding up though, so I'm not complaining.
I did a withdrawal from one of my sites, finally - all these 10ps really slow it down, don't they? Still, free money, mustn't grumble, etc, etcI've just signed up for a casino site on quidco, deposited my money, all ready to play through, but you can't do so until 9pm because it is "live"......bah! I must remember to give it a go later on this evening.....
Ooh .... I look at those casinos, and I really wonder. I did 2 bingo sites on ipoints before last Christmas, but only got the points for one of them - luckily, the bonus was so good that I wasn't out of pocket, but its made me shy away from doing anything else. Did you take screencaps? The bonuses are *very* good, I must say..2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Morning hypno:)
I like the idea of a 'garden month' I think thats something I need to do around here! Pick a room and work on it for a month:) The house is so messy as it is the summer holidays and my routine is shot, as much as I like having the kids at home, by the end of the holidays I am counting down the days until they go back so I can get myself back into my termtime routine!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning KC, I've not kept a list of achievements, but I certainly notice the changes around me, so I am nicely aware of them
The casino site is on quidco - deposit £20 and play through, for £30 cashback on quidco, so there should be a £10 "profit" in it, even if I can't withdraw anything from the site itself. We shall see - it is a while since I have done anything like this, so I hope I don't make silly mistakes.......
I am giving myself until 9am to stay in pjs and drink coffee.....then need to get my act together and start doing something productive while the weather holds.....
Plan for today:- Clean conservatory windows and inside roof
- clean garage gutters and all paintwork/downpipes etc
- take load to tip from garden
- fill in pond as much as possible
- go to Tescos
- Roast pork for dinner.........:D
- Finish ironing and get more washed/dried
- Quick hoover through downstairs
- Tidy kitchen

Hi Jamie - I think the idea of doing one room a month is going to work well for me.
August has seen a huge improvement in the garden already, plus we have cleared out the conservatory so it is usable and comfortable too, so that is good. We still have some way to go to make the outside fab but some of that involves money, so I am trying to concentrate on the bits I can do for free - clearing and cleaning........
Next month will be the kitchen - we put in a new kitchen not long after we moved in, 6 years ago, but stupidly there is a little bit of tiling around the window sill to be done, and the sill itself needs painting. There is also one bit of cupboard trim that never made it to the cupboardIf I can get those bits finished off, it will stop annoying me! Combined with a bit of cupboard clearing, and oven cleaning, and that room will be finished!
October will be the dining room I think - just a fresh lick of paint needed there, so costs should be minimal. I've got plenty of paint for the ceiling so it is just gloss for the woodwork and a tin of paint for the walls. The floor is good quality having been replaced a couple of years ago after our flood, and the curtains don't need replacing, so it really is just clean paint needed there. The woodwork needs painting which is the time consuming bit, rubbing down skirting boards and doors, but all in all not a huge job.
The idea is that by the end of the year I will have done every room - got some of the niggly little jobs done that should have been done a long time ago, and freshened everything up a bit. There are a couple of bigger jobs to be done, in the lounge which needs replastering, and in the en-suite which needs re-fitting, so they need saving up for, and will therefore be done later in the year, as I get closer to being debt free.......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
