I've changed my avatar - trying to keep up the "think positive" stuff!

The sun is shining - I am having a "normal" weekend......none of us are working, and I have opted out of all ski races this summer hols, so rather than fret about whether we can afford to live without the extra work coming in, I am taking control of and enjoying the things that I can, rather than stressing about the things that I can't do anything about.

I am enjoying sitting in "space" - my conservatory is tidy, as is the dining room, which is the room that the conservatory leads off, and the garden is coming along nicely too.......and it is amazing how much better it feels than being surrounded by "stuff".

The ironing pile has crept up again, though - it has been too hot to iron, so that now dominates the lounge again. I will crack on with that while I watch X Factor this evening, and regain control of my lounge too.

Then tomorrow, I will do some more in the garden - we have an old pond that needs filling in - it is now empty of water and wildlife, so needs the lining removing and filling in with some of the rubble/extra soil that we have found whilst sorting out the rest of the garden.

I also want to clean the downpipes and the bargeboards on the bits I can reach too - they are white......but you wouldn't necessarily be able to tell that at the moment :o

I've got an online isa - but as it is still "instant access"........yes, you've guessed it, I accessed it instantly! And as a result I have a whole 79p in it :rotfl:

I can't have anything that is a "fixed term" because I hope that it will have enough in it to clear the barclayloan within a few months.

I will stick with today's plan, but will let you know if I feel a wavering of willpower coming on, so you can all shout at me!!

That also looks quite good ZTD...thanks.
Hypno...how lovely that you are having a "normal" weekend. You seem to have done a lot of thinking as well and well done on the nice tidy areas.
I'm also a believer in tackling things that I can rather than stress about things that are out of my control.
