A 'bad' letter today which really wound me up. Not really due to the news in it but the clear incompetence...(Alliance and Leicester Loan this time)

"Arrears on your account have continued for some time now and you have failed to make any proposals for payment"

    ?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I replied with a one worded letter "Muppets"

No, of course I didn't, tempting though ;)

The designated section of the DEBT FOLDER marked A&L contains 5 letters sent to them, plus letters in response from them accepting my temporary proposal, plus the most recent letter I sent actually being a prompt to tell them that they had not responded to my last letter! I'm even doing their job for them! :rotfl:

I politely pointed all of this out :D

Not sure why I got so wound up over it but it has hit a nerve. I think it was the accusation that I have done "nothing" when in fact I have worked my btm off trying to put together proposals and solutions and calculations and doing the right thing and writing dozens of letters and working til the wee hours on Ebay and living hand to mouth and living in fear of a knock at the door and worrying and stressing and thinking about it all 24/7

    And....breeeeeaaaaaatttthhhhhhh

I can just imagine a Miss Piggy Style letter...Hiiiyaaa:j:T:rotfl: The way these companies try and intimidate is breathtaking.

The way i look at all of this now, is that it is not personal and we are just corporate nuisances...

Once we know our place then it is so much easier!:rotfl: As in i can write less personal letters, deal with glaringly obvious facts ( in your case ..the umpteen letters you have written) and breathe.:D:rotfl:

I'd be tempted to send the "Muppets" letter as well, though :D

Ah yes, I'm back into my accepted state of a red number/inconvenient blip on their systems. :D

And from now on I am definitely going to adopt the Miss Piggy style...Hiiiyaaa...!! mantra when writing letters and updating the DEBT FOLDER :rotfl:Sooo satisfying!! Although may horrify any innocent bystanders :o

Managed to do my car tax - it was them online who couldn't locate it, so after a bit of toing and froing making sure that my insurance company hadn't kicked me to the kerb for some reason, it's all sorted now :T

I'm on a mini strike at work as I am having to wait until Friday for my payday - should have been last Friday but being as I'm just doing an extra week until I finish they are putting it altogether for this Friday. (It's a pay-as-you-go type consultancy role) Saves them a whole minute of signing an extra cheque! But makes me pray that the vapours keeping my car going last that long...

Ooh bagged a £1 Nails Inc nail varnish! :money:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1843593

That will help keep my aching for something new and pretty at bay for a little while longer. Was actually salivating at just picking the colour!

Not been shopping since Nelson lost his eye so I will end the day happy :j

Although I read an article on stress yesterday and shopping was mentioned as a valid form of meditation. I'll happily be the guinea pig for any scientific studies into this :D

Must look into mystery shopping next week *adds to the list*

Not too much to report. Have checked the banking, transferred my latest Paypal wad over yesterday to cover the mortgage and utilites due out Monday (keeping amounts in current account and Paypal as low as poss in case of the stat demanders following through with bankruptcy petition and freeze my accounts)

Mini flurry of letters, old current account overdraft that's only in overdraft because they keep slapping overdraft charges on it

Lloyds TSB Solicitors letter about credit card. The usual reply letter will apply! With added Hiiiyaaa!! :p

Plus having trouble with a supplier I had a sale or return agreement with. I have all of their stock here in storage and have maintained the fact that all they need to do is come and collect it (they shouldn't have sent it in the first place as I didn't renew the agreement knowing I was closing but they are so lacksy daisy - who sends 60,000 Euros worth of stock into 2 tiny boutiques with no paperwork signed?!?!)

Cue very unprofessional approach of messages via Facebook (Did I mention lacksy daisyness?!) I have had trouble in the past with them not crediting my account accurately when I was in business (took 9 months to sort out) so I am wary about releasing it without some assurance/receipt, but they will not produce anything until they have it back at their (lacksy daisy) warehouse. One of us is going to have to give in and use an incredible amount of trust but I'm not convinced about their competence at all.

Very much feel like an ostrich day today :o

Bob...I saw a post that claimed they had successfully ordered 3 to the same household, you may still be in with a chance! Or you could rock the black nails with your DD's...

Just listed another 17 items on Ebay-phew. Listening to the radio at the same time (yes I am at work but on mini strike/slight rebellion. And on lunch :o) and Simply Red's "Money's Too Tight To Mention" was playing as I tirelessy listed my worldly posessions :rotfl:
