    Morning everyone,

So mucgh to catch up on, think I will have to have a good read later on as things to do.

Daughters both had a good day at Thorpe Park yesterday. They had plenty of vouchers for buy one get one free tickets so brought the cost down. They have been doing them in Sun thsis week. Eldest daugther is going to add up what she spent later when shes awake and see if I have any money left from what we gave her to go with although I'm not holding my breathe.

Managed to claim £13 from Get Pounds Back this morning. Still have £20 waiting to be paid from Student Money Back, think this will be paid at the end of this month. Cashback Rewards is near to pay out too, will be another £25, not sure if they stop the £5 admin fee or not. Just £1.01 to go.

Daughter brought home a letter from school last day of term saying there is a school trip next year to Italy which she really wants to go on but the price is a staggering £680, I would love her to be able to go but cant imagine being able to afford it but am going to see how much I can raise during the school hols (and her) and see what the situation is then. At least most of the Christmas stuff and birthdyay bits are out of the way, just need to get OH something.

I think I will use the £2 coins I am saving up towards the school trip ( I reckon there must be at least £30 in there so far) and daughter has put a tenner in there in notes (must keep a check of what she puts in incase we decide we cant afford it then she can have her money back).

I am baby sitting on Thurs and Mon after so will put that money in the pot and any click money I get. Also have some bits to put on Ebay, will get daughter to get it all down later today and take some photos.

Will keep you all inforned of how I get on as I guess this is an "occaision" to save for.

    Anyway things to do xxx

£680!!:eek: Gosh, by the time 7month old Pip goes to school the trips will be into 4 figures Im sure. Maybe I should start saving now! :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks everyone, I am pleased I have got most of it organised in my head now. When I go to the cheapy shops I can look and buy things for the hampers as I see them so that will spread the cost down.

I have a sealed pot which I was going to use for Christmas but at this rate it will all be paid for!!

    Hello all !
Feeling better today..........what do you know - cd/dvd driver now working !!! How, I know not but it is.........so fingers crossed it stays that way. Daren't push it right in just in case it gets stuck again.
As for the printer not printing anything..........well I'll give that a miss for today...........could do with a 'stress free' time.
So, to make up for yesterdays obsession with faulty hi tech stuff today I'll get around to finishing off my sons little pile of pebbles and just might get around to sticking mums photos in scrapbook for her friend.

Just wanted to say rufusdog - what a wonderful mother you must be (back in the day my mother would have just said no!)...I totally think you can do it (how long do you have to get money together), I think it's great you getting dd involved with raising the money too, excellent lessons to be learned for her too.
If you've got christmas sorted almost already that will be a great help!

I made this for my friend for her birthday - bought the watering can from home bargains and then made everything else and the card from my stash and some kebab skewers I had in the kitchen and a bit of my dd's plastacine - she really loved it as we go to scrapbooking crops together so she likes that sort of thing, on the handle of the watering can I wrote "If friends were flowers...I'd pick you". I would normally get people a little gift but she is on a strict diet so I couldn't get her anything edible and didn't know what else to get so this was the next best thing...I'm quite chuffed with it, actually I ended up getting her some lemon sorbet as its her fave and low in calories but it didn't cost much. Made a matching card where I sewed on happy birthday with one of my new stencils, really enjoyed doing them too.
