sarah - not having good day:mad: Everything I touch is going wrong. Got cable into printer, downloaded thingy instead of having to use CD -can't cos its bust ! - and now wretched printer won't print !!! Took me ages to work out how to get paper in properly -been on Epsoms online chat helpline on and off all day (well 4 times) and still no nearer..............now I'm being told to clean printer nozzles !! Blessed thing was brand new all wrapper in plastic so how come nozzles got mucky ??
Just told OH if I have to send this lot back I shan't bother with another.............so peed off.

Sorry -rant over -don't want to spoil other folks day:o

You poor thing hun, I hate it when things like that happen everything else seems to go wrong too.. I seem to remember having to run a clean on my printer when I bought it and I always have to clean mine about 3 times after i fill the ink up so keep trying it will all work out.

sarah - I don't want to get beaten by a chunk of plastic ! But I think for today I've had enough of it. If I do anything else I think my eyes will pop out............lol
Worse comes to worse I can put what I've got on documents and pictures onto memory stick and get local computer shop to print them out for me..........stuff like instructions how to make things etc.
Shame its not a computer shop that does a 'fix it' service..............lol Its really just a copying place and sells ink.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hope these make you chuckle Mary..the printer will be there tomorrow hun, I'm sure you'll get it too work, put your feet up and think about something else...

The printer is comprised of three main parts; the case, the jammed paper tray and the blinking red light.:rotfl:(so true LOL)

When the office printer color started to look a little off the manager called the local repair shop. To the manager’s surprise the clerk said that it would cost $50 but that he might try reading the manual and doing it himself. The manager replied in astonishment “does your boss know that you discourage business that way? Yes, replied the clerk. It was his idea. We make more on repairs than cleanings if the owner tries to do it himself first.

A woman called tech support and said her computer couldn’t find the printer. The tech asked, “are you working under windows?” The woman replied “no I’m near the door but the guy in the next cubical is working under a window and his printer works fine.”

sarah - I put a query about the cd/dvd drive (now I know what its called.......lol) being stuck on the Techie board and tried everything they suggested.......last reply was that it was faulty.............that would mean going back to Comet with it and either asking for money back or replacement that would give me no hassle so I'd be without computer............
We've off on holiday next Saturday so I'm doing nothing about it till then anyway. £500 I paid for this bloomin' machine and printer..............neither of then want to do what they're supposed to:mad:

Printer will only take 3 sheets of paper as far as I can tell anyway and epsom help line still hasn't e mailed with instructions on how to clean nozzles:mad:

Oh it does make me swear:mad:

Sorry.............I'm very 'unchristmassy' today:o Be better another day I promise

Devon Cliffs is lovely, we have been 3 times. Make sure you both go for a massage in the spa, not the cheapest but well worth it. BIG hill to the beach is the only downside, funny sitting on the beach or in the cliff bar watching the soldiers run round in the distance though!!

Love todays joke Sarah x x

The big hill would def be the downside the soliders could be the upside!! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Well done Pip's Mum you are well organised! OH and I went to the nearby town of Ayr today as the weather was so nice.

I do like the shops there, something different. I bought 4 items of clothing for OH's 2 grandchildren aged 2 and 6 in the Debenham's sale, lovely Jasper Conran stuff - £41 - got them for £26 and used a £20 gift voucher I had so only spent £6 - very well pleased and these will be put away for Christmas.

We were wandering through a £2 shop, kind of like Au Naturelle but everything £2 and even OH was looking at things and suggesting they might be good for my hampers :rotfl:think he is hooked too! Bought some cute slipper sox for the girls' pamper hampers which pleased him!!

Welldone Pipsmum on all your christmas organisining, It feel great starting to organise it all, I started mine the other day and it really gets you in the mood for christmas.

Well done on all your bargins ellemm sounds like you got the OH well trained.

Definately an upside that mum2one, nothing like an army barraks to get you walking up hills LOL (used to live near one when I was younger in spain, there was something about them all doing PT every morning to get the blood going;))

Been pretty busy, crossed loads of jobs of my list, but have added half a dozen back on. Hopefully will get them done today. Then I can enjoy my freedom next week as I will be able to go out Bargin hunting again as I will be officially out of Quarantine :j:j
