Had quite a good day today- the works had a clearance sale on so managed to pick up quite a few bits and bobs and not a penny spent on myself (until fags at the end of the day oops!)

woo, was just messing about with some of the stuff I have bought and have one person completely bought for. Had a budget of £10, spent £9.15 and stuff in it is worth £54.45 saving me £45.30 :D:D:D:D (mainly due to 99p blouse deal of the day from QVC store blouse originally worth £30)

Went mooching in town today as I had to wait around for my brother for an hour and a half (bad times) but got some bargains (good times!). :D
Gave myself a budget of £10 for what was intially a treat myself moment, but ended up going in Christmas mode.
Went into the BHF and two packaged hair accesories sets and two phone charm gift packs all for a total of £1.97! Bargainus!
Then walked into Poundland and went crazy... LOL!
Managed to pick up loads, and still had 50p left over for a sausage roll.

On the whole, a good trip!

Also managed to book one fo the holoidays from the Sun for a tenner each today, so I'm off to Devon Cliffs in November with my girlfriends for a long weekend. Yeeeeeah its a Haven camp, but hey - who doesn't love them eh?! :D:D:D

By the way can anyone tell me what DD means?

I love making these with the kids for birthdays and other occasions, heres a nice simple one for Christmas.

It's giving me ideas this now, I wonder if I could get DS1 Dr who figures in one for him to whack:rolleyes:

I was just reading the info and see that you glue all the decorations down as well as the opening. So how are they opened?.Would make a mess I guess if they are cut apart?

same way a normal pinata is opened- hitting it til it splits is just paper mache which isnt too strong just a few whacks and whats in it wont be in it much longer

You've had a good day shopping, love those bargains, and the sausage roll you have to have a treat.

You've done well getting the Devon Cliffs site, its Havens flagship site, it had a massive refit couple of yrs ago and they put in full spa and facilities.

Not been on that site, my friend went in June and loved it.

Good girlie weekend, ur not to far from Exmouth, theres a few pubs there, there pretty much close together including a weatherspoons.

The only downfall of the site, its very big and hilly, so high heels after a gd ngt out........ may need to be swopped for flatties xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Well I think I'm finally on the mend (fingers & everything else crossed) woke up this morning with no aches or cough, still a bit sniffley but thats loads better than i have been feeling. Kids are off to the cinema this morning with their grandma, got some free tickets from woolworths, so a few hours peace and quite.

Managed to do a load of printing last night so my OC folder has loads of crisp new sheets in for me to fill out. Which I will start later on. Need to get going so I know where I'm up to on things or I may end up buying doudble for people.
