Got the tree up yesterday, we got one already netted from in a supermarket so it's nearly dead and looks very sorry for itself. I've done my best with it...
Just done a tesco order for most of the food apart from stuff I'll need really fresh, so I can get cooking next week. Need to make some more room in the freezer I think.
I'm doing mulled wine and mince pies for OH's customers, one of whom is moving next week so needs hers eary. I've been drinking lots of BOGOF Shloer so I have plenty of bottles for the mulled wine just need to make a nice label now...
Been shopping online a little too much but jsut couldn't resist getting OH a few more pressies and one or two for me lol - now I want to get the kids another one each but not sure I can justify another £25 - though it would be replacing a broken toy they have already...
Did prexmas toy clear out yesterday, chucked out a bin bag full and reorganised them all- yay!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I am really excited for the January sales so that I can get next years birthday presents sorted and cheap too.
Am I alone or are you all mad like me? Lol!!
Just did some figures and my budget, excluding son and OH was £270 for 30 people.
I actually spent £265.54 so I am really pleased. Managed to get probably double the presents I could have by being organised and buying early and taking advantage of offers also by using vouchers from doing the surveys.
Cant wait to start again for next year.
Thanks everyone x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hello all :j
Been to the Christmas Fair in town.............lovely atmosphere, sun was shining then a big cloud loomed and it poured down. OH went to find the nearest pub that was open and I sheltered in the nearest shop till it left off. Loads of stalls.................could have spent small fortune on bits and bobs but was very good and didn't. Just got some chilli salad oil for OH, couple of really nice 'primitive' type decorations, snowman felt toy bag -only 20p cos it got wet.........be perfect for grandson next year, and some dried oranges and chillies to decorate my 'twig tree'............when I get it out of the garden...............lol
Think we'll put decorations up on Tuesday -well normally me that does them and this year got to clear stuff off the dresser for the odds and ends I got for that.
Thankfully foster daughter felt well enough to come into town for a little while. She thinks she'll be ok to take me to my sons for the Santa Run next weekend...............hope so, if not they'll have to wait till new year.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I would like to thank everyone who posts on here (especially those who organise the thread - hoping next year to make it onto the money saving one a must as well).
I have today finally finished wrapping all the presents and have just a few cards left to make
hank you to you all for getting me organised:wave: Kate :hello:0 -
I too would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributes towards this thread. It has helped me get uber organized this year and even with one or two weeks off from doing Christmas things I am still organised!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have pput the decorations up today, written the cards and posted them and no more left to make.
The only things left to do now are get the rest of the baking ingredients I have just written down and wrap up a few pressies. Then bake things over next weekend and a few on Christmas Eve. Normally I make a complicated meal on Christmas Eve but as I am on my own now it will be simple and nice to watch TV and finish off any last minute things.
I used up all of my cards I bought in the sale and it reminded me to get a few packs this year in the salesfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has made this thread so great. I have found it so useful and it has helped me be so organised this Christmas.
Earlier today I felt like I should be doing something Christmassy but I couldn't think of anything that still needs doing! I've never been so organised, I keep thinking I must have forgotten something really important! It's been so nice to have time to do fun Christmas things with my family - yesterday we went to a Christmas party organised by my Son's nursery and next weekend we're taking him to see some reindeerMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -

I have a very busy week this week with various appointments and school plays etc. Luckily i got my hampers and last few presents all wrapped and done over the weekend.
These last few days will now be giving the house a mini spring clean and getting the housework in order so i can have a few days off over Christmas and try to get away with the bare minimum housework
Also going to make few freezers meals as well this week (Lasagnes, Shepherds Pies etc etc) so i can grab one of those out instead of having to cook everyday.
Hope everyone else is excited as i am :rotfl:Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0
