Forum was down when I logged on a bit ago....... wee bit of a panic.........:rotfl:

Not done much today as painter been here but did get me motivated to clearing out comp. desk drawers to make room for my scrapbooking stuff so its got a place all to itself..............:j
Amazed at what I threw out................stuff I'd printed out more times than I'd ever need, printing that had gone wrong.........why on earth didn't I get rid of it at the time:confused:
Oh well, had great ideas of making some cards or something tomorrow but all the stuff off the walls needs a good clean before it gets hung back up so think that might take a fair bit of time..........might have a bit of time in the afternoon.
Have sorted out a box I stored some of my cards in.........now they're going in my index card boxes insteads and I can cover the box and use it for something else:j (haven't thought what yet though)

Hope youve all had a good day....................:j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Finally figured out how to add my own photos to messages. This is a notebook I covered for my Mum. She loves car boot sales and likes to write down things she needs to look out for there, so I've made her a special car boot book!

I bought the notebook from Wilkinsons for 15p. I sewed alphabet beads on to some green felt then attached a fabric flower. Finally I used double sided tape to attach the felt to the notebook. I'm really pleased with it and I'll make some more when I figure out who I can give them to!

No I haven't gpne mad, but with only 2 Santa Challenges left to Christmas, I figured that 24th dec, we'd be with family and the last thing would be a challenge, esp as were so wonderfully organised, we'd of got it all done!

Method in my madness lets have Decembers Santas Challenge.

    Its only a mini one-

Make 5 minutes for yourself over the festive period, even if you have to lock yourself in the loo!

By Dec 24th - you should have that special present under the tree, not George Clooney, but ur Secret Santa Parcel, as you don't know who has choose it for you, and there was 3 choices, if you could put on the thread what you were "choosen", then ur mystery partner can see what you had.

Great idea for the kids (and adults - a little money saving idea), save ur xmas cards, so when the festivities are over and ur head is acheing from the noise of that must have toy..... get the kids to cut gift tags from the front of the cards, and use a hole puncher, (just the one hole), and put a bit of curling ribbon in, instant gift tag, and makes the children involved in the process.

Were have the normal Santas Challenge on the 24th November xx

I do this - also keep the expensive wrapping paper or even just the really sparkley/shiney paper that we receive from others, and shred it for next year's hampers, looks really impressive!

    Need to pick your brains

I am doing Pots of Gold for my nieces

    So far I've got:
    • a few gold coins
    • £1 coin
    • some gold paper eclairs (co-op's own)
Can you think what else I can put in?

    Thanks Kalojac

Thank you :) Yes, can only echo what irishgirl said - it's a 1ltr jar from Asda for £1. It's big - could only just fit all of that in it (and the taller things and rainbow drops are on the outside of it)

The jar is a good find - I've had to used washed out coffee jars for my sweetie jars, they look ok, but a kilner jar would've looked so much better.! Well done, it looks really impressive.
