  • Hello all

Has anyone heard from Mary? I hope everything went ok for her husband and herself today.

Fedupandskint - I am being very MSE! Its nice to get a bargain and know you have saved money. Saying that the lack of sleep is creeping up on me now!

RufusDog ~ I hope you post a photo of the quilt when you finish it!

Lunar Sea ~ I actually fell asleep at about 11.45pm and woke up at 1am to find myself slumped over the laptop! Thought i would refresh the page just incase and couldnt believe it when the sale was online. I did buy the Sylvanian Family Caravan but stopped at that as my DD has so much of it. I was soooo tempted by the horse and carriage and the big yacht tho but i stayed focussed! lol

KiWi13 ~ Feel free to join in and chat away. I only found this thread a few weeks ago but so pleased i did. It is so nice to know i am getting organised financially and physically if that makes sense! I am aiming by the end of November to have all the presents brought, wrapped and posted to relatives if they need to be and all the food and drink that can be brought done so. This way i can have a stress free December having lots of fun with my children when our Christmas Elf comes to stay on 1st Dec!!! HeHe

Ragz - Ohhh i love Crimbo dinner and wont hardly eat for few days beforehand so i can have 1 big pig out! I have to admit tho i prepare all the veggies etc but my husband actually cooks Christmas dinner for us! He is so good at it too and his roast potatoes hmmmm. My 2 eldest children go to their dad early afternoon so i spend time with them in the morning before they go. We have our big Xmas dinner at about 12pm ( i usually wake the kids up at 4am latest to open pressies etc!!!) then a tea (cold meats, salads, nibbles etc) at tea time. You have reminded me to order all my Chritmas meat and Turkey crown from the Butchers this weekend!

NannyBoo ~ I think i read in a earlier post the secret santa codes to be back to Mum2One today if possible unless i am thinking of something else which is quite possible lol

    Hello all :j

Got back from hospital a bit earlier..............went to Focus to get some paint and had a wander round little shopping precinct to kill time till 5.15pm -found lovely little card making/craft shop -could have spent hours and shed loads of money there but OH was getting tired so we went on to hospital an hour early and got seen straight away.............OH's not having too good a day but a lot of that maybe worry about having the scan (he's never had one before) plus fretting about the outcome of it all.............I'm trying to be normal (he keeps telling me to stop fussing:rolleyes:) but its hard work.
Still, got the painter chappy here tomorrow........he's washed the walls and ceilings, we got the paint and he'll be raring to go...............puts any craft type plans on hold though..........my kitchen table is my craft area and I'll just be in the way..........so, I'll have to think of something else to do.............OH is going to see his mate -maybe I'll tidy/clear up the megga mess that is currently covering my comp.room/den............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Ragz we always have christmas dinner around 4pm but have a big cooked breakfast so we dont want dinner/lunch, aswell as all the chocolate that gets scranned between breakfast and Christmas dinner.

Cheeky princesses I loved sylvanian familys as a kid, I'd have them now if I could.

Mary Im glad the scan went ok and I have everything crossed for a good result. Thinking off you both hun

Thanks for that I'm so glad I asked wouldn't want to get into trouble lol.

Have spent hours on Argos site and had a terrible time. I would have found it so much easier going to shops to find something. Think I have it sorted anyway just hope I've done it right

I thought it was the 20th for the codes?

Also BOOTS OFFER OF THE WEEK is the Elle bag BUT naughty Mr Boots has made it 33% off and 342 instead of the usual 50% off and 342 :( not as good a deal. £26 individually instead of £40 OR £17.66 if you buy three. Some extra points codes but nothing like last year :( Getting the equivalent of 341 and at least £15 back in points per £50 spend. Mr B is making me sad! Anywya, the bag is gorgeous so if you are tempted here is the link http://www.boots.com/en/Elle-Ultimate-Elle_949668/?cm_re=Product-_-301009_031109-_-C9094_Rot1&cm_sp=Killer_offer_Elle-_-301009_031109-_-C9094_Rot1 and I reckon "be quick" as they do usually sell out fast but not sure if they will this week with the offer not being as good

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

We went to the Boots event on Wednesday and they only had a few of the front cover OOTW left. My sis picked some up and when she paid was told they weren't on 342. Check all the OOTW are on this before purchasing otherwise not a very good deal at all.....

I also thought the Secret Santa answers had to be back in by 20th November can someone please confirm as I have been on a course all week (and today) and haven't yet had time to look. Thanks!

I'm sure mum2one wanted the codes for the 20th I think she was askin that everyone returned their answers to her by yesterday so we all had a few weeks to choose the pressies:confused:
