mary-op, thinking of you and your family, hope all goes well.
djstar80 hope everythings ok in your household now
Everyone else well done with the bargains and half price offers, you are all doing really well.
I ordered OH's The Take dvd off HMV yesterday, was only £5.99 which I dont mind paying as to £8.99 on Amazon and £6.99 on Play. Expect it will come down even more before Xmas but its done and one less thing to worry about. Wrapped up most of the rest of the dvds that I could reach. One is in the box with my daughters bits and cant get that down on my own as its on top of my wardrobe. Its inside and Amazon box though so he wouldnt see it.
Daughter went to a party last night so I had the evening to do a bit more to her quilt. It's coming along nicely, the 3 layers are tacked together and I have hand quilted every other rectangle (they are the patterend fabric ones). The other rectangles are all white cotton and I printed her name on the computer in bubble writing lots of times and cut them out and I am doing a fine running stitch around the edge of the name in one or two rectangles with a metallic thread which changes colour as you sew. It is taking ages but looks nice. When I have finished the names I have to hand quilt the rest of the white pieces and then sew on the binding and it will be finished. She is baby sitting I think tonight and tomorrow so will be able to get some more done then.
Need to dig out my Argos bok for the Secret Santa as cant really find much online, dont know if they dont do as much on there. Wish I had picked up one of the new ones the other day when I was near an Argos but it was carrying it that put me off.0 -

You could make a CD up of all his fave songs.
A voucher booklet (massage, early night, night doing his fave hobby, etc etc)
A free personalised calendar : http://www.bagsoflove.co.uk/calendars/free-personalised-photo-calendar/
That's excellent, thank you.
I knew I'd get some great ideas here :TMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -

I wondered if we all posted our dooyoo reviews, if we took the time to once a day click on each others links it would rack up our dooyoo points? What does everyone think? If its ok mine are

ps)Has anyone got a crown before?
I've rated a few of yours but noticed you haven't been rating anyone in returnso I'll hold off for now until you catch up, only fair.
I'm really running out of things to review and dooyoo haven't processed any of my suggestions.
I'm a bit bored now I've bought and wrapped all my Christmas presents. What can I start on next?
Have submitted my choices for the Secret Santa, sorry whoever got me as I didn't answer the questions very well, I found it really hard :rolleyes:June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I had that with Dooyoo for ages. I had about 10 suggestions up there for weeks, so I emailed them just to make sure my suggestions hadn't got lost. They emailed back saying that they prioritise actual purchaseable items, and because they get so many suggestions, my suggestions may be lower priority (they were hotels) - but they'll get to them in the end. And they did, to be fair!
Mary - hope everythign goes well today!
I need to go look through Argos for my secret santa receiver don't I! lol

Afternoon everyone! Me again!
Can you help? Hubby has asked for a specific eau de toilette for Crimbo, but I've no idea the best online stores (perfume specialist or otherwise) to start looking! He wants Paco Rabanne Ultra Violet (eau de toilette) 100ml.
I feel out of my depth here. ASk me to find the best prices on books, DVDs or games, and I'm fine!! lol
Any help or suggested sites would be wonderful. Thank you!!

Hi Clare,
Just had a quick look on Boots website
100ml EDT is £39.99
Ultraviolet gift set with 50ml EDT and 100ml shower gel is £30
Don't know if you have any points or can use cashback to help but at least it is genuine from there
Hope this helps!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

More wrapping and sorting to do today.
Well done you for staying up! I tried to but ended up crawling up to bed shattered about 10 to 12,Im woken every morning around 5.30 am by my youngest so I just cant do late nights any more! A lot of what I wanted which was the Sylvanian families was sold out but I have ordered 2 furreal pets which Im delighted with! At £45 and £50 each I had told my daughters they were too expensive so it will be a lovely suprise for them come Christmas Day.
Im just having a break from sorting out their room, Im dreading going back up to it though! Im trying to be as ruthless as possible, there is so much there that just isnt played with but its hard work sorting through it in front of them, as soon as I put something in a bag ready to be re-homed they are pouncing on it and saying they cant live without it!0 -
