    Hi all !
I've spent all morning wrapping then more wrapping then stuff wouldn't fit in the boxes I wanted it too so had to have re-arrange............sorted now...........done my two friends bits and pieces, decided to put grandsons birthday stuff in a big gift bag -lot easier than trying to find a box to fit it in..........daren't start on foster daughters stuff in case she pops round..........I'll do hers tomorrow.
At least its all in respective bags/boxes in a neat row (well sort of) on the spare bed................lol
Adding some extras for little grandsons christmas eve box and can't find a box the right size to put them in ..........not much just reindee poo, a mug with a reindeer on it and robins christmas breakfast.........must have a box kicking around somewhere that I can cover.

Must not forget to copy photos to put in grandsons Pooh Bear photo album.................must not forget !!
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Ahead of the challenge - did my dd room on Friday - sorted out loads of her summer clothes and couldn't decide whether it was worth ebaying them now or not - just need to find the time! Want to list as much as I can and anything that doesn't sell I will either put away to list after Christmas, or take to the local fleamarket in a couple of weeks time.
Ds room -sorted his clothes out last week, and just have his book shelves and toy cupboard to do.
Also decluttered the living room yesterday, and hubby spent half an hour rearranging the furniture and deciding where the Christmas tree will go - I may win the battle to get decs up on 1st December this year!
Have finished ds shopping, just need to do the wrapping, a couple of bits to get for dd. Still have quite a bit to get - some will be done at Boots on Wednesday, and I hope to get a couple of hours shopping in town on my own over the weekend next week.
Decided today we are having Christmas at home, and if people want to come to us then they will be given times that we will be eating etc and can come in between.
I am feeling quite organised this year, thank you MSE!

Don't forget to check out the discounts thread - I am sure they have some money off if you spend over a certain amount - and quidco too!

I bought this desk set for my son today, I'm so pleased with it! It should have been £30 but was half price so it was just £15. I have been wanting a little desk set like this for a while and this one is just what I had in mind, I'm so pleased :j. I'm going to take it out of the box and make it before I wrap it, so he'll be able to use it straight away on Christmas Day.

I also bought this for my nephew who is Power Ranger crazy -

It's got 3 figures and 3 vehicles that do lots of fancy stuff by connecting together in various ways. It cost £20 but is apparently usually £50  No way would I pay £50, but I'm pleased with it for £20.

Final thing I bought was a Pinky Ponk toy (from In the Night Garden). Usually £15 but was 1/2 price at £7.50. It plays music and does other stuff. The main body of it is soft, so nice and cuddly. My son spotted this from the other end of the aisle so that is another birthday present for him for next month :)

ToysRus was SO busy! There were so many over-excited children and tired parents, it made me very pleased to think I have nearly finished my Christmas shopping so can spend the next few months enjoying the run-up to Christmas rather than panic buying.

i found the grand plan a challenge last year and really couldn't keep up with it, this year i have just split the house up room by room with jobs to do and then a main list that i can add too, that way i can do what i feel when i feel like it with out the pressure of it having to be done this week:eek: i got so frustrated with it last year i felt burnt out by january. i feel i'm getting there this year though.

That's a good idea Sarah. I had this idea over the summer holidays to do all my outstanding to-do's so I could start fresh for the plan starting Aug 31st but of course the pressure of it meant that out of about 30 jobs, I only did two. LOL

So I'll do something like you from now on.

I'm wondering about those of you that started the sealed pot £2 challenge earlier in the year when this was Mel's thread. They were supposed to be opened October. Anyone done that yet?
