  • Morning all

This weekend i am organising a bit at home! I cleaned out 1 dd's bedroom yesterday and now have a huge pile of toys for the charity shop or woman refuge if i can find one local. I am going to be brave and start on my 2 younger dd's bedroom today :o If you dont hear from me for a week send out a search party  It was shocking actually how many toys she hasnt played with in the last year and also how many toys were still unopened that she got for Christmas last year! :o I think its because she is 9 yrs old and a grown up one so is coming out of the toy playing and into more grown up stuff.

Also i know a lot of you are into crafts and since joining this thread and a few others on this board i am getting into it too. I have brought some special offers from Arty miss this morning like the christmas stamps caddy for £1.99 and also the alphabet caddy too for my children but i need ink pads i think! Would these ones be ok? sorry to ask but i am a beginner! :D

I am loving the Next bedding set! might "need" 3 of them for my dd's beds. Great price too for Next. :T

Sarah you sound like a busy girl! By the time you go on holiday you will need the rest! Hope you have fab holiday next week. :T

    Good Morning.

What are you planning on using the ink pad for. If you need to cover larger surfaces you may be worth looking at separate ink pads for each colour IYSWIM.

One of the problems with QVC is the cost of postage. Go to http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=48 and you can ask there about certain inks that you want. I don't know if that is any good.

3-cheeky-princesses where abouts in Essex are you from. There is a craft shop in Hornchurch I don't know if you have heard of it?

Have you thought about places like Wilkinson etc for stamp sets etc. I wonder if they do them?

  • Sammy Kaye if your getting Ben a bike for Christmas Halfords do a good XMas scheme where you can put a deposit down (it was £30 one year and £10 another year per bike) and then pay off the balance as and when then collect the bike whenever you want ( we choose few days before Christmas). I have done this for 2 years running as one year my children had new bikes and then last Christmas my dh and I had bikes for Christmas. Also with Halfords they will make the bike for you (as you sometimes have to put on the stabiliers etc...) if you want them too and also give you a free safety check 6 - 8 weeks after you have used the bike. Their after care service is good too.

Also there is 50% of at the moment at halford if I remember that is on for a while then when it gets nearer Christmas (and for the panic buyers) it disappears so may be worth looking into it now.

I hope someone here can help me!

My brother in law is SO difficult to buy for and the one thing he has asked for is FCUK no.1 toiletries. I can't find it anywhere! I can find loads of other FCUK ones but no.1 is the only one he likes so I can't get another FCUK one instead.

It's the first year he has had any idea what he wanted so I really wanted to get it. Does anyone know anywhere that sells it or even if it's still made? I've seen it in Boots in previous years but they don't seem to have it this year.
