    hiya all

well ive tidied my frost free freezer and moved the bits from the small freezer into it and have unplugged the little freezer to defrost, I may finish this challenge by Xmas as I honestly think thats how long the freezer will take to defrost (hangs head in shame)
On a more positive note I've picked my xmas movie (Deck the Halls) and Im going to go have an early night with my bar of choc tonight

Am sitting swamped by lists so really need to organise those before the hubby thinks its recycling and chucks it out

    bye 4 now

Hope the freezers are coming on well, so has anyone found anything interesting!! or weird!!
On the pleasureable side we found a box of mini cheesecakes - thou the box does rattle a bit.

Plan for weekend - dd wants to watch mamma mia, but wants popcorn and box of maltesers, I've got to get my xmas file to sort out.

Told you Jammy had a treat up her sleeve - thank you - will def need to do some downloading. xx

Well been really busy and tierd LOL got roped into going on DS2 school trip yesterday and the teacher had us marching round all day, so was really tired last night, took me all my time just to read and thank all the posts. Got a mountain of jobs todo today, including helping OH in the Garden.

Love the Blog Jammy will have a propper look later and download your spreadsheet for my file.

My freezer defrosted (While I was out) and OH finished it off ;) so going on the school trip had its advantages, he has told me there was a load of peas in the bottom draw and a deformed Icecream cone at the top... not very exciting really.

Right, I'm off for another coffee and getting stuck in, only got DS2 here today as DS1 is rehearsing for his show at the Lowery next weekend.

    catch you all later

    Morning all,
I'm still working my way through reducing the food in the freezer before defrosting it.
Going to do some more knitting and cutting of patches and going to try and get some eading done for the vintage beaded flower thing on craftbits.com - not as easy as it looks!

Hello all :hello:, would it be ok if I joined in please? After starting 2009 well, I am seriously lacking in Christmas organisation and need to re-focus. I have been doing little bits and bobs but really need to get organised and I think you guys are the ones to help me do that ;) I've seen the fab blog created by the lovely Jammy and need to have a proper read of the thread and see what's going on. Will buy my folder today to get started :jMy freezer in the kitchen is frost-free and the one in the garage has too much stuff in it at the mo to defrost it but will do a trawl through and plan meals to reduce shopping spend over the next few weeks.

If anyone fancies making their own Christmas cards this year please pop by the card making thread... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=23218255#post23218255 We are currently running a Christmas card challenge - finishes Monday night so still time to make one and post on the thread. Everyone's names will be put into a 'hat' and one person will win some Xmasy craft goodies :xmassmile

Hi Rainmac - I have missed you! I just noticed you were a follower o nthe blog and thought I hadn't seen you for ages! I have just linked the card thread on the blog too hope you don't mind!

I bought some 70% discounted necklace and earrings sets in Dorothy Perkins yesterday for the princely sum of £2.70. They are lovely, and will look so much more expensive in a nice box and bit of tissue paper!

Cheers Jammy, I've been on the card thread but little else on MSE as I have been busy. Need to dedicate a bit more time to getting organised for the big event so hope to be a regular here ;)

Hi Hayley! Did you HAVE to sign up for scribd to download the spreadhseet then? You couldn't just down load it directly? That is annoying! I wanted it to be a simple download thing HRM.
