Mum2one and choccy thanks so much for doing this, I know it must be takining a lot of time and effort. It is appreciated.
Thank you, I'm mad as I love Christmas, my mum laughs at me as I have lists for everything, but come xmas when I say - Vons and family, Black Peacocks bag Box 2, its worth it. Its a welcome relief from studying.

Defrosting the freezer worked at a brilliant time for me as my plan was to clean the cupboard it's in tomorrow anyway but I'm telling you now with all this work going on, I'm having a cabury's highlights chocolate drink aswell tomorrow and dunking me nana in it.:D

Good luck with the freezer, I cheated and dad it!! Its his job...... thou he had a can of cider for doing it.......

Now my ducks, I'm sorry, I can be so thick at times, I am just so flummoxed over this planner, I looked on the organized website - don't get me wrong it's brilliant but there's so much info I didn't know what to print or which plan I'm following. The dividers you mention am I to fill in all the info in each section by the 23rd july - ie all my recipes, all my food shopping etc.
Sorry again, I know it's simple but I'm just sooo:confused:

Dont be daft re folder, my brain goes 10 to the dozen.

Ladies, I've added a bit more to the folder thread, as me brain goes 10 to the dozen. Dont worry its no more work....... Just realised that you might of thought I'd have you all up everyngt getting the folder full by Santas Challenge!!

Thank you to soblivion, otherwise you'd of been to tired for the next challenge xx

    Soblivion re Organising Christmas website.

I'm doing the 18 week one beginning End of August, it's called Houseworks ( think) . So each week you de-clutter or clean one room and also do special occasions projects.

There are shorter plans you can work on as well if you don't fancy that one.

Althernatively, you could just print off all their Rudolph club newsletters.

Being as its over 18 weeks, you could always add my home to ur declutter list, I wouldnt object!! x

Great Challenge's Mum2one, well done you :T Love them. Can't do the big Freezer as I have one of those fancy ones that don't frost up, but will do my little one as that is always like the northpole in there.

Love the folder ideas, cant wait to print the organising sheets of the OC website, must have a look and see if they are on yet, One thing you missed (i hope you don't mind me saying :o) was a money nuetral section?? Where people following Jammy's Thrifty gifty thread can record all their bits. Oh and maybe a Homemade Gift Section??(Sorry if I'm interfering:o)

I've been really busy the last few days on time consuming faffy jobs round the house, but trying to get them all done before this all kicks in, then I can concentrate on festivities.

Been having a think over Choccy's challenge and have come up with a few things to do with the kids, just booked DS2 on Mad science Camp for a week over the hols and just waiting for DS1 Drama to let me know dates for summer school then can have a look around those dates for places to go etc.. Had a leaftlet through the door yesterday about meeting Harry Potter, Dumbledore and hagrid (Lookalikes) in the town centre over the hols so that 3 days covered, will just work any shopping I need those weeks onto the same day. Got a few ideas for free days out and will use the wet days to make xmas gifts with the kids, so need to decide what we will be making.

Right its time for another coffee, catch you all in a bit.

    rusty and mum2one

If you go to the cineworld website and get the times for your local cinema near the bottom there are usually 3 films near the bottom with only one showing on saturday round about 10am, those are your movie for juniors films- remember accompanying adults go free!
They also do an activity pack occasionally which was £1 and used to have a free movies for juniors ticket in it so all in all free and is handy when waiting on the film to start (they can be a bit late because it is busy busy busy!)

Lol- my insider knowledge, I used to work at cineworld (shrewsbury) hence why so knowledgable appearing

Also love the idea of the folder

I do the holiday grand plan from organizedchristmas...there are pretty much 3 plans on there 1. 6 week christmas only plan, 2. a housework only plan or the 3. grand plan (what I do) which includes everything including the christmas organisation and the house cleaning plan. (this starts end of aug/start of sep)

AS FOR THE CHALLENGE....hahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahahaha I have a brand new 'frost free fridge freezer', no scraping for me heeheeheehee, but I will watch my christmas film today with my choccy and I'll get on with some of my christmas crafts I think.

Well, sports day for this year has been cancelled in our house as DS1 is at home with a temperature, feeling sick & a weak cough (or rather a pathetic cough as I call it, lol), I've been joking with our recent luck it'll turn out to be swine flu! This does mean however I can make a start on the challenges.

Good idea about the other dividers Sarah & I've also ordered a book, thank you :)

I also use the organizedchristmas.com print outs and ideas, I have them in a seprate folder and am sure this thread is really going to run along side it wonderfully. Those tasks are fab as checklists and getting ready, whereas the challenges on here are really motivating, especially when they involve chocolate, lol

I'm off to empty my freezer and starting the defrosting process.
