yeah I just went to asda this morning and they have christmas bits in...I got hubby a limited edition white chocolate terrys choccy orange - like I've said before trying to get all the last bits and pieces in for christmas now so when this baby arrives I can hibernate until next year - LOL.
DD wants a hide and seek peppa pig (costs a lot) so my dad says he'll get that for her...yippee cos that would have took a big part of my budget away. yeay for daddy.0 -
Okay I am going to have to admit to a brain dead moment. I want to join in the Secret Santa but have to admit I am not sure if I understand it properly so here goes am I right in thinking this is what I am too do
I choose three things worth £10 based on the ideas I am given for that person
1 = bag worth £9.99
2 = make up worth £5 + make up worth £5
3 = cross stitch set worth £9.99
Then I send the catalogue numbers for that person - to who?
Someone sends me the catalogue numbers for me (and I don’t cheat and look up on the site what they are) and I pass them to hubby and he goes and buys it and wraps it up with tag saying from secret santa for under the tree.
If I am right please add me to the Secret Santa Challenge if not help can someone explain it to me in simple terms - sorry for being so thick
Thats pretty much how I understand it too, I'm sure Mum will be along soon and tell us that the way it goes:D:D:D:D

I dont know Clare but I Luuuuuurrrrrve those too!! Ive never seen them for AGES! If you do find them, please let me know too! Likewise, if I find them I will be sure to let you know!
Will do Jo!! Just to confirm, they ARN'T in ASDA, Tesco or Morrisons (just checked Morrisons!)
Just picked up 3x 4m rolls of wrapping paper in Morrisons for 50p each though. They didn't have much left - a few silvery adult styles (those are the ones I picked up as hubby likes to wrap in that style), and loads of a fairy pink style. Getting low though! Just thought I'd warn you all if you were thinking of popping there!

Not done a lot today -chaps came to fit new door so my idea of going down town to get ribbon and finish off door hangers went out the window. Hopefully going tomorrow when I've been with OH to see GP about his xray.
Did manage to cover shoe box and the little box neighbour gave me...........really must get down to tescos and get a load of sweets that I need then at least I'll have them ready.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I thought we chose items catelogue numbers from Argos up to the value of £10 based on persons answers.
So that might be 1 big item for £10 or maybe 2 £5 items or even 4 £2.50 items?

Are you buying anything from Argos for Christmas and getting it delivered if you dont have any near you? Maybe you could get the secret santa pressie delivered at the same time and do it that way?....Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0
