  • Love the pressie idea mum2one/ mum2ones DD.

Love the challenges, mine are all sorted pretty much, got my xmas morning kit up in the loft with all the pressies just need to add the camera and the batteries. Although have a big stash of batteries in the cupboard all year round so that just gets dumped in the frontroom christmas morning. Got the first aid kit sorted have that stocked all year too and the pressie stash is so full i don;t think i should need to buy anymore. but fab ideas!!!

Don't forget the mums (or mum & dads) kit for xmas eve mum2one

    Bottle/s of Wine/ Beer
Box of Chocs/ or savory snacks
PRO PLUS (to keep us going while the kids fall asleep... so we can get the pressies out)
    Relaxing bubble bath
    New Pyjamas and slippers
Cellotape (for any pressies that have come loose)
Xmas Film or Good Film to watch while the kids go to bed
and of course LIST OF JOBS TO DO on Christmas eve LIST.

Also handy to have a pair of scissors in the christmas morning hamper and a printed out list of people you normally get pressies off so you can make a quick note as to what you got so you can do thankyous.

I too do different papers for my kids save the tag writing;) I also take a lot of the toys out of the packaging before I wrap them, saves loads of boxes piling up christmas day, also stops the kids whinging and moaning while you untie those dreaded wire tags that must be done out of spite  and put batteries in any that need them so they are ready to play with imeadietley

Been busy writing reviews this morning will have a proper catch up later, hope everyone is having a good day

  • Hello all

Just had a look on the shopping part of the forum and there is a good deal get £50 worth of shopping for £8 from Tescos (using cashback, money off voucher and BOGOF). At the moment there is a lot of Xmas goodies at BOGOF at Tescos inc:

Tin choccies (Roses, Celebrations, Quality Street, Heroes)

Tubs of snack (Tiwglets, Cheesy balls, Cheeslets)

    Choccie Coin

Plus offers on Batteries, Selection boxes etc etc....

Might be worth a look to stock up on the Xmas extra's for a small cost!

Useful lists there .............most of it I don't need to do as we spend christmas just me and OH........kids live too far away and like to spend christmas with their partners and grandchildren. Suits me............means we can have a quiet time. Usually go to see them the week before and have a 'christmas day' then.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
