The braclet available seperatly at think its £19.99, a set of the 4 beads are £12.99, they had different colour ways, deep pink, red.

The spacers - their was different designs - think they were£10.00 for 2.

(compared seperately - the made up bracelets great value).

I got a cheapie one, (costume jewellery), paid £25 for that, so thats now gone as an xmas prezzie, (only wore for 1hr), the ones in Argos are really gd value.

The jewellers where my friend had hers from (it was a 40th bday present off her mum, the gold beads £40 to £50 each), even the silver beads are £20+each.

Make an excellent xmas prezzie xx

The lady at our Argos store said their new in, not in the catalogue hense the intro price.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Sarah, you'll need evidence bags! Maybe a little camera and a notebook and pen? And carbon paper for writing/dental samples and perhaps some test tubes.

A friend of mine's a police photographer and he always has elastic bands to put over the fronts of his shoes - if he accidentally leaves a footprint on a scene they know it's his and not a criminal's.

    Here are some experiments :)

  • Wish we had Home Bargains down here

The Forensic Kit sounds brilliant! :T The only other thing i can think of is maybe a notepad and pencil, some police or yellow tape to cordon of a scene?, Clear plastic bags to put "evidence" in.

  • Just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all on this thread, you have got me totally inspired. Have been doing the santa's challenges - OH is delighted that I am finally getting to the back of the kitchen cupboards! Am also doing some bits of the OC grand plan, which I think will really help us get the house in order. Great for xmas but also generally as we moved just over a year ago so now is time to look at see what we want/need to do to the place. THANK YOU - i would never have done any of this before finding this thread!!! Also have quite a few gifts lined up and lots of cards, wrapping paper found at bargainous prices. You guys have also helped me with birthdays as I am generally thinking ahead about pressies etc so a couple of recent birthdays have been much easier.

    So for the mini challenge

    1. Really not sure what to put at first as certain groups of people would know different things about me. Think will put helped a child learn to walk in a Romanian orphanage - highlight of 2 trips over there now many years ago. Sarah - tambien hablo espanol - saludos chica!

    2. Did this say money no object? If so it would be to take all the family over to OH's home country in Latin America, we have never been and lots of people we need to meet - not to mention the beaches, mountains, jungle etc etc.

Sorry to be such a lurker, I always want to post but literally I am only just keeping up with reading!!!

    Hello all !
Spent the whole morning drowning in paperwork of one sort or another  No time for any of the nice things like playing with paper and glue.......... and can't say my desk looks much clearer for all that...............I need an empty cupboard to put stuff in thats 'waiting to be done'.
Still, did manage to get sons girlfriends birthday shoe box of stuff all tied up with ribbon, matching tag I found I'd done ages ago (must have been more organised then...........lol)
Friends birthday stuff is all in the shopping bag that she's having as a pressie -birthday not till November but at least its done.
So, can now concentrate on other stuff......like working out which of teenage grandchildrens stuff is for their birthday and which for christmas (both at same time )....need more diaries, broom handle for my cobweb chasers, brown flannel and must think of something to do with mousemat...........can't waste it.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

1.What have you done or achieved, that no one would really know unless you told them.

    2. What would you like to do if you if you could, nothing for anyone else, just you!.

    1. I've helped 3 different charities raise in total around £40,000 by organising and running overnight spooky events for them.
    2. Learn to sing (properly, not just in the shower!!) and go on a cake decorating course!!

I'd love to see Macchu Picchu too - by the way, my cousin went there earlier in the year and it's rumourded that they're going to close it as visitors are causing too much damage!!

Shevs - the course you did sounds perfect, except it's so far away from me!! I'm in South Wales! Ho hum....

sarah191979 - That's great, thanks for the recipes! Have you tried it any of them??

Mum2one - you ever been to Kenya in the end?? WELL worth the money!!!
Wii - THe Wii normally only comes with one controller, so I'd get a second. However, they can be £30 but if you buy the game called Wii Play (brilliant game that helps complete newbies get to grips with the power of the Wii remotes!) it comes witha wii remote and is still only about £30. Other than that, I wouldn't bother with any other accessorries - it really depends on the games you end up getting. The numchucks might be worth getting at some point....

scattymam1 & ragz - wish my nesting instinct would kick in!! lol I'm awful at tidying normally.....

Christmas shopping is coming along nicely. I hope to get two £20 vouchers from dooyoo in the next month or so, so that will pay for the majority of my Nan's pressie (digital photo frame) and also will transfer the other into a £20 voucher for my friend and her son to share in a movie hamper (they like their films, so can't risk getting a film they haven't already got!! lol). Hubby is on dooyoo too and he's planning on using his vouchers on christmas shopping too. Plus we're continuously ordering the odd thing here and there so it's coming along! (As Annie and Clarabel would say to Thomas...)

Had a productive weekend too. Cross stitched almost all of one card for Christmas - it's a christmassy-fied picture of Guybrush Threepwood (of the Monkey Island computer game fame). Going to do 3 I hope, one for my Bro and his girlfriend, one for my parents, and one for a friend. Really pleased though as I kind of made it up based on pictures and me playing with graph paper!!

Oooo and got excited lunchtime - Aldi have mince pies, Chrsitmas puddings, Christmas cakes, shortbread and Stolen in! I don't like stolen normally but last year they had mini ones, and they were gorgeous!! Nice and moist - I find the larger ones normally too dry! So I'm keeping my beady eyes out....
