Which browser should i use?

Hithanks, now the next question, how do i use it, lol
You might need to go into Tools > Addons
to enable NoScript, then restart Firefox.
When it's running there's a letter 'S' in bottom right hand corner of screen.
Right-click on it to see a mini-menu.
If it's stopping a script from running the letter 'S' has a bar through it, then you right-click and, if you like, 'allow script' or 'allow script temporary' or 'forbid script' etc.
There's also a FAQ, but life's too short. Here:-FAQNever interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -

or would adding google toolbar help with internet explorer
I don't like IE8 much so I'd say try the alternatives.
The question is why do you feel that you need to change browser? If you are comfortable with IE, practice "safe surfing" and don't have a reason to change then as much as my personal preferences lie elsewhere I'd have to strongly question if you'd really get much benefit from changing.
Oh.. toolbars. I've never seen them make things better. I have seen them make things worse. Matter of opinion though, to be honest. If you have a burning urge to install one from a reputable source then why not. I wouldn't though! If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
Running in Protected Mode on Vista with UAC enabled, yes.
Safer but not faster and certainly not bomb proof and as MS are now having to change their code to bring their browsers back into line with the way things should work a lot of websites out there are detecting an IE browser serving up and IE6/7 compatible page which is then broken in IE8 (especially things like JS menus) so you then end up using compatibility mode instead.....0 -
Safari 4 on the PC which still has security issues and with 1.8% market penetration if it doesnt work on say your banking site (common) they aint likely to fix it, in fact some banks actually stop you logging in using Safari
I think great on a Mac but there's no way i'd put Safari on a Vista machine0 -
i did the sunspider tests - http://www2.webkit.org/perf/sunspider-0.9/sunspider.html, and the acid 3 test, for rendering and safari 4 came out fastest on the sunspider test.
firefox 3.5 was close behind (much faster than 3.0), but fails on acid 3, as it only gets to 93/100
Opera 9.64 gets 85% in the acid 3, and is ALOT slower than FF 3.5 in the sunspider tests, so that's straight out of the window..
Roll on chrome though for OS X, that might be interesting...0 -
interesting.. both my banks allow me to use safari to log in to their systems, maybe some banks don't like new browsers, i've seen someone post an issue with firefox 3.5, so you can't just brand safari with that problem!0

I have a few bank accounts, and none of them stop me logging in using Safari. And if they did, that's why having two browsers is a good idea. The last website that stopped me using Safari was the download for the Windows 7 RC. I just loaded it up in Firefox and off I went.
And according to Net Applications, Safari has an 8.43% market share, which is more than both Google Chrome and Opera.
I used to use Firefox as Safari 3 had quite a lot of problems. I have no hesitation in using and recommending Safari 4 however. It's vastly improved over its predecessor... Roll on chrome though for OS X, that might be interesting...
You can get a developer build here if you're feeling brave.0 -
I use Opera because I feel sorry for them only having like 1% market share

Seriously though, any browser will do the job, IE and Firefox or Safari - Firefox went tit's up on me yesterday though...0 -
I think Opera is under-rated because many aren't aware of it's capabilities and ease of use compared to both FireFox and IE.0

I'm sure Opera will have it's stand.....One day...0
