Please don't use Toolbars, of any ilk.
The good thing about Browsers is that you can install as many as you like and use them all at the same time, if you so wish.
So, install away and try them out.
My favourite? Opera.
It's the fastest and easiest for everyday use by far. Sending an email from a link in a webpage or wishing to send info or a link from a webpage? Email client is open within a second. Try that with Internet Explorer.
Firefox is somewhere in the middle.
another vote for opera here0 -
I have to admit that I use the IE rendering engine in FF on a daily basis, but that's only because I need to use a sharepoint services site, and FF really doesn't like it one bit.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

the first vote for Safari here. I find it the fastest out of anything to use, and love the clean interface it gives you.
Chrome is good, just nowhere near as fully featured out of any of the other browsers.

That's exactly why I use it, tbh.
If you're not too concerned about having the securist browser going (sorry guys, some of us just aren't) and just want a light, easy to use, browser - Chrome's great.
Use FF for a couple of sites that don't work with chrome and IE7 as an absolute last resort.0 -
It's all personal perference at the end of the day. I use a combination of I.E8 and Fireox and associated addons.
That pretty much covers around 70% of the worlds browsing usage and therefore all (99.9%) sites developed will be compatitble and have no issues.0 -

I use Sharepoint all the time with Firefox, it's fine for browsing and general additions, but any major changes / maintenance, adding new controls etc, don't seem to work properly, so I switch to IE tab for that. Hardly surprising MS forces the options with IE.0 -

Good joke ! MS have been trying to catch up with Firefox for years and still haven't done so. IE8 is a very poor version of Firefox 3, let alone 3.5.
Have used Firefox and Thunderbird for years, both excellent. Also use Noscript.0 -
Bunch of girls!!! get some toolbars installed, you won't regret it...
