    Welcome back Newby

Just had some top news. DiL has just had her degree results. She's got a 2-1 :D I think I'll splash out on a bottle of bubbly for this evening.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • If it's not as advertised, I would complain to the vendor (and mention the lack of instructions too, as they should all come with instructions) and if they don't rectify the problem, leave negative feedback. It's not good enough to say that the pedometer has a feature it doesn't have.

I'm feeling bleurgh so going back to bed

I think I may have found the step counter (even though it's not on the display). After my walk it's displaying 3.252km/1.988 miles, 1273 cals or 3980 (steps?)
    I'm sorry you don't feel well today.x

    soappie :T:T for your Dil's 2-1.

I know you sent it a week ago, but I only just noticed it was there!

it's been a very chaotic week here, so no flying only flapping...and here I am wasting time on the pc when I could be doing something...anything! :o hoping this thread will inspire me and maybe next week will be better

Afternoon everyone. It's been one of those mornings, think I've been suffering from the after effects of therapy yesterday afternoon. That was pretty gruelling as we talked about the influence and chipping away mum had on me when I was little and how she is still influencing and chipping away at me in death. So as you can imagine it wasn't very nice. And this is the tip of the iceburg, so to speak..ack!!

So I've done absolutely nothing apart from washing up, drinking copious amounts of tea and spending three hours on the laptop. I know it's that long as I had to switch over from battery to mains when I suddenly went into hibernation while browsing..lol

So I've hung the washing out, that was washed about 4 hours ago..oops!! Fingers crossed that it doesn't rain even though there are black clouds. While I was out there I went to investigate the veg plot, oooh I have little baby french beans growing - shall have to put some more sheep stuff around them as there are signs of slugs. I've got a 5ft tomato plant, I didn't even know tomato plants grew that big. It's getting as big as me now. And the other two are fast catching it up.. But they do have tomatoes on so that is one thing. Can't remember what colours they were though, they could be the yellow ones or the pink one..lol. Did have to untangle the runner bean plant from one of the tomato plants, it had taken a liking to growing up it..so I staked it and untangled it. The beetroot and sweetcorn are growing lovely, as are the two baby tomato plants and chilli peppers also in the veg plot.

The bushy tomato plant in the pot has lots and lots of tomatoes on, same again I can't remember what colour these are..lol

My black lace sambucca plant is growing like wild fire - it's over 7ft tall now, but it looks lovely with the berries just ripening for the birds to feast on. The jasmine is also thriving next to the sambucca. I'm amazed anything grows in the garden as I am not a dedicated gardener, it's all rather slap dash with me. I go along the attitude, if it grows it grows and if it dies well so be it..won't grow that again... :rotfl:

    tiamai_d wow
it's getting close now isn't it? Will keep fingers crossed that your blood pressure behaves itself.

Magnificent Monday ~Crabby kitchen! ALL DONE TOOTS

My plans got changed around a bit. Met DD earlier than planned. She does job search on a Thursday. When she got there they stopped her going in as as two of the staff have been confirmed with swine flu. She has had to ring work and see if she can go in tomorrow. We did have a laugh. We were sitting on the seats at the bus stop. DD me then a lady. The lady is talking on her phone and DD gets hers out to ring someone. I hear a ringing sound and ask if she is on loudspeaker. She couldnt talk for laughing and said its your phone, answer it. The lady had to tell the person she was talking to she would ring her back as she was laughing that hard.

My friends husband has done this before when under stress. This is the longest time though. He left a note and told her to go back down South where her family are. The police searched her house. She is talking about breaking up the home and going South. She is worried sick and not sleeping well or eating properly.

    Kitchen now looking good.
    Clean washing put away
    Bank statement checked.
    Computer desk tidied.
    Dailies done.
