    New Weekly Challenge...

    · Clean out ALL of TOP drawer, make up and toiletries....threw 2 things in the bin this morning..... :o havent really started this one....
    · 10 mins FILING each day! [STRIKE]M[/STRIKE] / [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE] / W / T / F
    · Clean out cupboard under the stairs....still in progress...
    · DO ALL IRONING....still need to get started on this one!
    · Paint ONE living room wall - ...first coat done....

    GENERAL TO-DO LIST......
    · Start step counting......still waiting for it to arrive....
    · GO TO GYM!!! .....been busy painting.
    · Lose 7lb.....will weigh myself when the pedometer arrives and start from there.
    · Phone ING and transfer savings - then close account......need to do this before start of summer hols so have the cash if need be for childcare...
    · [STRIKE]text mum[/STRIKE]

I have worked like a dog and my list is just getting bigger and bigger. The kitchen needs re-doing......well tidied at least, the living room is like a bomb hit it!

Im just moaning cos Im tired, just ignore me. Your right Pigpen, I'll be glad when its finished..... and Im praying it is beautiful!!!!!

I cant remember who asked about claiming his childcare through the tax credits..... I do, but my hours at work went from 37 hours a week to 25 hours a week, so obviously I had to notify them of the change..... I still need the childcare, but obviously less for term time than in the holidays. But what they pay you is an average figure based on what you pay in total throughout the year, and of course the weeks I was receiving more money than I was paying out that week, I didnt keep any of that to pay for the more expensive weeks, cos when I was on a full time wage it wasnt a problem.....now Im on a part time wage, £120 a week will be a problem.

It doesnt help that the tax credits made a mistake, and Im currently getting less than what I should be and Im waiting for them to recitify it - which apparently they have......but Im waiting for the award notice to come through - that said, some money went into my account today! :j So Im hoping the problem has been solved.

But Im a worrier and I would like to have my own cash to be able to pay for it, rather than relying on them to get it right, on time! So I will keep my pennies for that - if I dont use the cash, I will pay it to my credit card anyway. And if I do have to use it in the mean time, I will use the TC money when that gets sorted for the credit card!

Hope that all makes sense! Im not quite with it today....

Have put away washing up, dry washing, started the WM and put cleaning cloths in the bathroom, and have had a bit of a tidy up in the bathroom and LR
    Well done :T.

I use online banking. Im with A bbey and its always been perfectly safe - Ive never had any problems.

I think no matter who you are with, they offer an online service. But I dont know how the others work. With my bank, you either have to call the call centre and register for online banking, or do it in branch or at the ATM with your card.

They then send you out 2 secure Pin nos (in the same way they would send you a new pin number with your card). You use these to log on for the first time, and then you can change them to something more memorable.

    HTH xx

  • Blimus doesn’t it have a step counter? The miles would depend on how long your stride length is, so if it allows you to set that then the miles setting would be fine.

No there's no step counter (even though on the ebay blurb it said there was ). I don't seem to be able to change the settings at all. There's just a button to change modes between cal/km and miles and a reset button. I'll keep it on miles and use that as a guide until I can find a pedometer and actually see what it can do before buying it.

In my hhc I cleared off lots from the bedrrom list and got the bedding washed. Just going to go and find some room on the line now. Then I'm going to go for a walk and see what this pedometer gets up to.

If it's not as advertised, I would complain to the vendor (and mention the lack of instructions too, as they should all come with instructions) and if they don't rectify the problem, leave negative feedback. It's not good enough to say that the pedometer has a feature it doesn't have.

I'm feeling bleurgh so going back to bed
