Hi everyone...not had chance to catch up on the thread (and probably won't get chance today either) so hope everyone is all ok. Although I did notice that Soappie's DIL needs a bit WELL DONE! :j

Updated list here and I am pleased to say I have one thing to cross off 5 things this week list and have made a substatial dent in the ironing so can nearly cross off another.

    Magnificent Monday ~Crabby kitchen!
Sort and wipe a cupboard.. throw away all those germ harbouring chipped plates and mugs!

Tuesday ~ Living Room/s, Hall, Stairs
    Level one
Declutter the floors and flat surfaces
    Level Two
    Wipe sofas
Vacuum floors... or mop them.. whatever..
    Wipe over any paintwork/doors etc
    Level three
Vacuum under furniture you are able to move without injuring yourself
Do a BIIIIIIG declutter... toys gone, shoes gone, paperwork gone...
Wiggly Wednesday ~ Bathroom, Loo, Study
Wipe the paintwork and radiators in these rooms
Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
Dust & deweb all the fluffy places :p
Wipe over the radiators, paintwork bannister rails etc
    Vacuum/mop all the floor.. :D

    1. Go running at least once this week (scheduled for 7pm Friday with a friend)
    2. [STRIKE]Do half an hour of paperwork sorting[/STRIKE] :jDONE!!!!
    3. Clear the ironing pile (did loads last night...about 45mins worth left to do)
    4. Sort out the car insurance (a job for Friday evening when I've been paid)
    5. Plant out the plants from the windowledge.
    See you later.

ETA: A lady that sits about a foot away from DH at work has suspected swine flu.

On a positive note though I got my reserved copy of Thrifty ways for modern living from the library today and they waived my overdue fine as my books were due back on Tuesday and I was busy being ill in bed all day! What a nice lady. Good karma heading back her way.

Too Choosey - If you can do it online without having the hassle of needing to phone up or go into register - then just do it online! I would, its clearly much easier now than it used to be.

I joined online banking many many moons ago....... x

I've used my pedometer today. Actually, I used two to see how accurate they are. One reads 5138 and the other 14617, ....for those with pedometers, which do you think is the most accurate?

Got to be the second one ;) :T :rotfl:

For charges Abbey is THE worst.. possibly on a par with Natwest who have been horrendous with my sister.. they froze her account and refused to give her any of her benefit money when she was made redundant!! TSB aren't too awful.. they are much much better than they used to be and A&L I have never had a bit of bother with!
